"Comfortable, affordable, polite"

Clean and comfortable room and the a/c was nice and cool when it was over 100 degrees outside. Two negatives were the hallway outside our room was very warm and the person working the counter was not very friendly or helpful when we checked; however, the daytime employees were much more friendly and personable. "Too much chlorine in the pool"
The hotel itself was clean; however, the pool was over-chlorinated and I couldn't swim or even stand in the pool area for 5 minutes without my eyes watering. The Manager told me that the pool had an auto-chlorination system and basically said that there was nothing they could do about it. The Reservation desk was very friendly. Fresh baked cookies nice touch. Hotel appeared to be under construction, wall paper off wall in lobby. Booked room for five, not enough towels for five. Nice Room, clean. We checked in around 9:00PM the lady at the counter was as courteous and friendly as a tree stump. Her name was Sarah, however the staff on duty when we got up the next morning was the total opposite.
