PROS: Service was friendly and responsive (eg, we needed an extra sheet for our travel crib, and it was brought over within minutes). Room was clean. Sink/vanity and storage areas were spacious enough. CONS: Small room (we had to move our travel crib in order to get in/out of room or from one side of room to another. Toilet/tub bathroom was also small […] and door closed automatically, so it was difficult to maneuver with little kids. Our tub was missing a stopper, so we had to be creative at bathtime. Also, the threshold to the bathroom had some nail heads that were not flush, so I ripped a sock. Because our stay was only one night, we did not complain about these things - they may well have been addressed promptly if we had. Suffice it to say that my kids were seriously bummed upon hearing the pool was closed for the season despite it being chilly. The room was pretty decent. One thing that was a bit off to me is the lighting. There's either not enough or way, way too much (like above the sink). But that was minor. The room was very clean and the bathroom had been redone […] fairly recently. The hotel isn't super close to Monterey activities but it is a short drive to everything. My family and I stay here once a year. It's clean, affordable and close to most attractions. The rooms come with a refrigerator, the pillows are soft, the beds are cozy and the area is quiet. Motel is in a perfect location. Front desk very helpful. Close to Del Monte Shopping Center, that was very festive on a cool November night with holiday cheer. Will stay at Monterey Surf Inn on my next visit to Monterey.

Overall was good. There is no place to sit at breakfast. The weather was nice so we brought our food to the table that had by the pool. There is a table in each room so I think most people took there food and went to their rooms.No screen on bathroom window but room was clean.

If we had the choice of staying here again, we would. Room were very neat and clean. If we needed extra towels, we just asked and got them. Kids had a great time in the heated pool. Great location too!! We stayed for 4 nights and had no issues.

Room was okay for sleeping. The air conditioner is really close to one bed and the sink was close to the other. The shower we had in room 4 was just a stall with no bath tub. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast is toast and cereal with orange juice, apple juice, and coffee.

The location and price were right, and having read previous reviews I thought I was getting a good deal. The staff were virtually non-existent, they were either always in the back room or posted a sign saying they would be back in 5 minutes (which turned into 30 mins to an hour). We had a maintenance problem with the shower/tub, it would not drain properly […] and the handle to turn on the water was broken; these issues were never remedied... Overall, for the price it was a good deal I guess, I would recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency instead though, it is worth the extra money. Read more

Stay there for 2 nights. It was ok with the price. It was so loud when u turn on water in the tub also when u flash toilet. I lost my baby's pajamas and shoes in the room i noticed that when i packed my bag on my second night.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very neat, clean, and easy to find. All the places are nearby - within couple of miles and staffs were very helpful. I was looking for some toiletries by default but could not find them. Luckily I had some spares in my bag so didn't ask the desk too.

We booked this room last minute, and with only one night stay. We arrived early and requested to get access to our room three hours before check in time. Front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was as pictured online, it was clean and cozy. This hotel is close to all the area attractions. The price is reasonable. We were not able […] to try the continental breakfast but it was nice to have available if someone want a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Stayed here for the Monterey Bay Aquarium with the kids over the weekend. Convenient 5 min. drive to the aquarium and Pacific Grove. Although the room was small, very clean, esp. the bathroom and shower, a bit overpriced for what it is. Would use it again for last minute option, but would rather have something nicer.

Hotel bom e simples. Os quartos tem bom tamanho, são limpos e confortáveis. Tem um café da manhã simples incluso na estadia. Fica bem localizado, a poucos metros do Shopping e a poucos minutos do aquário de Monterey.

Verblijf was voor 1 nacht. Verwarmd zwembad. Hadden voor 3 personen geboekt volwassen en kind van 13. Bij inchecken bleek dat we voor roll-away extra moeten betalen. Terwijl normaal kind op de kamer geen probleem is. Uiteindelijk kamer genomen met 2 bedden. ( was net zo duur als extra roll-awa)y

Helt greit hotell /motell. Parker bilen rett utfor døren til der du bor på et hyggelig tun. Hotellet ligger fra ca. 3-4 minutter fra vakre Carmel og den samme avstanden til sjø og strand. Det tar ca. 1 time å kjøre fra dette stedet til San Francisco. Området rundt hotellet er rolig og sjamerene med et mindre sentrum i gåavstand fra hotellet.

좀 늦게 체크인을 했었는데 우선 프론트 직원이 불친절했으며.... 객실에 들어갔을때 LCD TV, 전자렌지등의 비품은 훌륭했으나 가장 중요한 침구등에는 만족하지 못했습니다. 튿히 가족과 함께라면 좀 더 비용을 지불하고 기본에 충실한 숙소를 잡는게 좋을 듯합니다.
