the carpet in the room is really dirty. The hotel is noisy: we heard the phone reception all night. For breakfast, there are only 2 tables and 6 chairs in a small space for all guests: difficult access to food when there are people. "Only if you have no other options in Monterrey"
This hotel does not have Queen size beds, so if you get a double bed room, you have to contend with full size. They do have King size per front desk, but no queen beds. Place is really showing its age. The showers look like they where home repaired. The coffee machine, water resevoire was filty, I am not sure what was in there, but I went for coffee […] instead. "The door to my room did not lock."
The door to my room did not lock when exiting for the evening. I went to the front desk to inform the staff, who replied "This is a safe area." and that there wasn't much they could do about it this evening. "Monterey on the cheap"
Monterey is magnificent. Great weather, the best aquarium, great restaurants. The Ramada Limited is a good location but poorly run. "What happened?"
We've stayed at this motel before. The room was clean, well maintained, and overall good value. This time was completely different. The sheets were dirty. The lights in the bathroom did not work. The shower had no water pressure. The staff were rude. The bedspread had a stain on it that was actually crusty. The window would not close all the way, but […] the surrounding neighborhood is pretty safe. We were only there to sleep for one night-but I wish we had arrived earlier. "Not a place you must go"
The hotel is old, the walls very thin. You can hear everything going on in the whole hotel. There is no noisy AC in the room to cover that. Old furniture. Bath, cleanness of the room were ok. If your looking for a hotel that is near the main attractions in Monterey then this is it. The hotel does not look in anyway like the pictures they show on their website. The hotel looks O.K. from the outside but can use some cleaning. Dust on outside doors, when I opened the refrigerator I found a left over KFC glass of soda in the fridge! Also, there was grease stains and large holes in the blankets! Large bath towels were fine but the floor mat towel that was neatly folded had more frayed ends that the ones I use […] to dry my car.
