"Lions and Tigers double dip!"
Myself and several friends needed a place to crash after same day Lions and Tigers world series game. Definitely served it's purpose...very close to parks and maybe 1/2 mile away from MGM where we were gambling. "It was convenient and a place to stay"
We went to Detroit to see a baseball game and we were able to do that! The distance to the park was not bad, but more than a mile! The neighborhood was questionable at best but the hotel was clean and had gated parking so not too uncomfortable. "Pleasantly Surpirsed"
I was very apprehensive to book this hotel at first, but with the Tigers playing the Indians that went out the window. The man at the front desk was very polite and pleasant. They were extremely busy, but he checked us in very promptly. Our room was very clean and fresh. Don't expect Hilton comforts, but I slept like a baby and never felt grossed out. […] No odors, bugs, or any other random things. The rooms are on the small side, but for the price and location (1.5miles from Comerica Park) I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.
