Overall good. Staff was nice and helpfull. I was very surprised at the size of the indoor pool, it was way to small for our liking. It had rained most of the time that my family was there so we had to use the indoor pool. It was also dirty :(

i was ask to bring my soiled sheets from south building to north bld. did not feel comfortable having to exchange my laundry that way. Also, towels etc.. everything else was great. make sure prices are correct if done through Hotel .com. I was quoted one price and charged another.

We loved this condo at the Cove, it was spacious and had everything you needed as a home away from home. Lovely oceanviews and large a large spacious floorplan. Absolutely worth the price for what you got!!! Will definitely stay here again when visiting Daytona Beach.

All was good but our room (#603 in North Tower) had some mechanical noise coming from the ceiling at all times. It did not bother me much but our friend other couples said they could not sleep.

Hotel itself is quite nice. Customer service could use some improvement. Reserved a 2 bedrm. luxury in South Tower but was sent to a 1 bedrm. at check-in. Took a while to correct the mistake, with no apologies and kept having to check for updates as to the progress in correcting the error. My husband, myself and my brother stayed in the North Tower of the Cove this past weeekend while we were in Ormond Beach for a wedding. Our accomodations were comfortable enough and with 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room we all had enough space. There were two balconies, one off the living room and one off […] the master bedroom with beautiful views of the ocean and making for fantastic sunrises. There is also a great pool area with a huge water slide and several other "water park" features. The only down side is that there is no daily maid service and if you want coffee, there is a 12 cup pot in the room but you will only get a packet of coffee the first day and it might make about 4 cups. There is no full length mirror in the apartment and no electric outlet near the decorative mirror in the living room. With only one bathroom it would have been nice to be able to use the living room mirror for drying and flat ironing hair while someone else was using the only other mirror in the bathroom. Read more

When we arrived, we were given a room without a bet. I called the front desk and they said the bed was in the wall. I was like, "WHAT?". That's not what we made a reservation for. We were expecting a regular queen bed, not a Murphy bed. The floors of the hotel room were tiled but dirty. Could not walk around in bare feet. Our socks got very dirty. We've stayed at the Cove several times and are never disappointed. Our room was in the south tower on the ground floor. Ground floor has it's advantages - short walk to the pool, no waiting for the elevator; and it's disadvantages - no ocean view, little privacy (windows & sliding glass door are right at the parking lot). The room was clean and stocked […] with everything we needed except shampoo in the bathroom. I was glad to notice an extra security measure for the sliding glass door since we were on the ground floor. My favorite thing about the Cove is the pool area. The deepest part is 3.5 feet so it's great for kids. On one end it has a gradual entry with a tall waterfall fountain. At the other end is a fun twirly water slide. Between the two is a lazy river with water spray and random water dump buckets. We enjoyed our stay at the Cove and wouldn't hesitate to return again. Read more

This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Cove. Last summer my husband and I went by ourselves and it was such a nice facility that this summer we took our two married daughters with our son-in-laws and the grandchildren. We stayed for 1 week in a 1 bedroom suite in the North tower with a furnished kitchen and a balcony overlooking the pool area and ocean. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking to spend some quality time on the beach relaxing. […] The beach is public space, and therefore alcohol is discouraged, but with a little effort disguising your drink is no problem, the hotel does not care. From the ground floor, you are no more than 200 feet from sandy beachfront; outdoor hot tub and pool. Also they have chairs and umbrellas that are put on the beach in the morning. The staff was more than helpful in finding areas to dine out, find groceries, or just about any entertainment you could want. The only con that is worth mentioning at all, is this hotel participates in a time share program that they would like you to listen to. It is approx 1 hr long, and can be a somewhat high pressure, but not too bad. The benefits to listening to the presentation is their "VIP" wrist bands that give you little things like free bottled water at the poolside, boogie board rental, and free lunches, and stuff like that. A few things you should know is that this is not a hotel, it is a time share which they rent out to you. There is no daily straightening up of your room or replenishing of your towels, tiolet paper,or other usual supplied items. You will have to go to the main desk in the lobbly to trade out your towels or to ask for another roll of t-paper. These are […] not dreadful faults and the staff is way above average in kindness but it was annoying since they would only give one roll per day when we had a reservation for nine days; obviously, we would be using several rolls during our stay. We also decided to just wash and dry our own towels since the washer/dryer were in the room. Overall, the stay was pleasant, the walls were thick enough not to hear anyone in the room next door but we could hear chairs moving above us. The appliances were in good order and everything was there to cook almost any meal. The biggest plus to us was the washer/dryer in the room. We could keep our clothes clean and beach towels dried for the next day. Overall, a good stay for us and extremely family oriented for children with a great pool area, the slide was especially enjoyable to the young ones. Read more

This is a condo so no housekeeping service, not a problem for me. The room and pool areas were terrific. I stayed in the north tower, one bedroom. The biggest problem was the noise, the walls are extremely thin and we had neigbors that stayed up very late. You can also hear chairs dragging across the floor above. Ours had a washer /dryer in the room also. views are not direct beach views as the building sits sideways however we did have a decent beach view from our balcony. The room and facility provided a great trip for our family and the lazy river pool with slide was a hit with our son....FYI the deck around the pool is thick paver stones and can get quite hot. we totally enjoyed staying here. The only downfall was them selling time shares, but i have to say they were not pushy in their trying to sell at all. We had a wonderful time at The Cove. We had 4 adults and my 2 children in a 2 bedroom condo in the North Tower. It was spacious enough that we didn't feel cramped and it was very clean. My children loved the water park and slide, and our views of the ocean from both of our balconies were fantastic. Also the beach is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the building itself has been very well maintained. Beware if you are a smoker. They don't even let you smoke on the outside balcony. They have an area out front by the door for smokers with only one chair. Also thought we were booking an ocean front room. They don't have any.

This was a great location for family fun. We have stayed here before and were not disappointed with this stay. Being right on the beach was a huge positive for evening walks. We were looking for lodging that was just outside the craziness of Daytona Beach during spring break. Ormond Beach was just the ticket. Bikers week was the week prior to when we arrived. We arrived on Sunday night 4.18.12 after driving a couple of days from Minneapolis. I knew we wanted a place with a kitchen, pool and was on the beach. The Cove on […] Ormond Beach was fantastic. We were in the south tower in a 1 bedroom unit that overlooked the Atlantic. They have both an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool had a water slide and jacuzzi. The Cove put out lounge chairs on the beach with umbrellas. First come first serve. You need to go to the front desk and get beach towels which you sign in and out on a daily basis. Bring your sunscreen! We upgraded to VIP status by agreeing to attend a 45 minute timesharing presentation. It was worth it. The Cove has several activities/breakfast or lunch offerings that are available to VIP's free of charge. There was a Publix grocery store about a mile south of the facility which was very convenient. Our room had an over and under washer/dryer which we used every day. They stock the room with dish and dishwasher soap, 3 rolls of tp and a roll of paper towels so depending on your stay you may need to buy more. Bring your own shampoo. Look up Mike at the Conceirge desk he was VERY helpful. He had great ideas for things to do in the area. The price was right and we had a wonderful stay. We would return again. Read more
