"The Best Toothbrush Holder"

We stayed at this place as an affordable alternative to the hotels that are closer to Hershey and are comparable offerings for much higher prices. We found the drive back and forth to/from Hershey to be very doable and worth the savings for 3 days just before July 4. However, they need to warm up the pool--our kids couldn't take the cold and these are kids who are normally ok in a pool that adults would consider too cold. This place is in a rural backwater location so it's very quiet to sleep at night which is good but the pickings are slim as far as restaurants on the other hand. The diner across the street looked good, though we didn't eat there. The front desk recommended O'Niell's in town but when we got there it was full and there was a wait for a table so we gave up and opted to eat at Hershey's instead. Hotel lobby decorated festively for Christmas and very pretty. Room was a King non-smoking on the 2nd floor. Getting off the elevator, the 2nd floor smelled like someone may have been smoking up there. Not a pleasant smell. The room itself was very clean. Nice flat-screen TV. Bed was clean and comfortable. This hotel is in very good condition, very clean and well kept. The location leaves a bit to be desired, not really close to any attractions. Approx 27 miles to Hershey and the Hollywood Cascino. "A Good hotel for the area"
We stayed here because we had family who lived nearby in a town with no hotels. Breakfast was fantastic as they had waffles, cereal, juices, milk, pastries, rotating hot food (eggs, ham, sausage, potatoes) and apples available every morning. We could hear the neighbors in our hotel room but this is nothing new for these types of hotels. Our fridge […] was kind of loud but it bothered my wife more than myself. The hotel was right off of the highway which was great (except for the noise)! The gas stations nearby ALWAYS had the HIGHEST gas prices. The pilot station across the street had a subway and dairy queen inside it and there's an old timey diner next door for sit down eats (but be prepared to wait!) unfortunately they tended to help and serve the truckers first :( The indoor pool was awful. The water was cold and the room temp was set to 78 when the outdoor temp was around 90 so the pool was ALWAYS cold! I had some problems with the bed my back was hurting after sleeping on it but I'm used to a very soft bed and these beds were more firm that I would like. We weren't in the hotel that often so most of the little things we didn't worry about. Overall it was a nice stay and the hotel staff was very nice. hotel is easy to get to, a quick easy ride to Hershey Park. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the staff was helpful. At breakfast there were 2 or 3 people trying to keep up with all of the guests.
