Both the carpet and the single guest chair in our room were visibly stained & filthy. It was a pet room, but that does not excuse the condition of the room in my mind. I felt bad about my Sheltie having to be on that floor.

Only stayed here overnight on our way to Arizona, but the room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was your usual continental breakfast. Close to freeway and restaurants.

It's what you would expect for an older hotel ... The room was clean and quiet, cleaner than many hotels at twice the price or more, the staff was friendly, close to a lot of places to eat no matter what you're in the mood for. Not a lot to choose from for breakfast (cereal, donuts etc.) but we didn't expect a full five star spread either. Cheap and cheerful motel. Room was simple enough but fine and comfortable. Hotel itself looks a little run down on the outside and breakfast is a half-hearted effort but thought overall it was fine for the price.

Apart from feeling like the staff just wanted to give us our keys & get us out of the lobby when we arrived late, the stay was pleasant and perfect for what our family needed it for. We checked in late, slept well on comfortable beds in a clean room, and checked out early to continue our voyage.

Upon check-in, the staff was great! Very helpful. The room was decent for an older hotel. Room cleaning was a little off, there was a used washcloth on the floor, and the tub still had dirt in it. Otherwise, it was ok.

The motel is run down. The door on our first room did not work. So we were given another room. The room inside smelled like hemp. It took over an hour of A/C to finally clear out the smell. This is just a place to sleep. Not staying here again.

Well if walk bare footed, expect a lot of dirt on your foot. Under the bed it was so dirty, it compared to the lint screen of a dryer after two loads of clothes. Fine, need a place to sleep and found it, nothing special, they dad a pool, but it was not cleaned and it could not be used. The fridge cooled down to 10 celcius / 46 F.

Our stay here was OK. No major issues and I would recommend it to people who need a place to crash for the night. Room was OK, not the cleanest, but pretty decent. Located close to food and shopping, and reasonably safe area. We felt totally safe. Very simple and basic overall, but fine for a night or two. I didn't have any major complaints.

Disappointing. Internet connection was good but TV was archaic ... 60's model! With cheap flat screens available ... no excuse. Adding insult to injury ... NO LOCAL CHANNELS, thus no Olympics the night of our stay! Response ... they promised to have it "fixed" but didn't show up.

Was surprised to see that hotel had a rating of 3.2 stars. It was not as nice as another Days Inn we recently stayed at that was only rated 2 stars. I would have rated this hotel 2 stars. For a night or two it's not bad nor was the price. The room was clean but the AC is an older unit and it took a while to cool off the room on a 100 degree day. The continental breakfast was very limited but then again, it's free. So overall, not a bad stay.

For a 1 night stay in Barstow the room was perfectly acceptable. Furnishings were adequate, beds were comfortable, no road noise, etc. Good value for the money.

while it served it's purposes well, I found the internet service, at times, bad. I could not access my email. Also the chair used to sit at the sink counter caused me to scrape my knees on the underside of the counter. but the clerk was friendly
