Very nice hotel. Rooms are recently remodeled. Service was excellent. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Salida and the Comfort Inn is much better (and also cheaper).

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for Christmas on the Mountain and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accomodations were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely look to stay there next time I am in town and would reccomend this establishment to any one else looking to stay in Salida.

I travel the world~ and this particular Comfort Inn has, by far, the friendliest staff ever! They were genuinely nice people without trying to be nice. The food was fresh and fairly delicious. The blankets and beds looked pretty new~ if not new, they were at least well taken care of.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome at this Comfort Inn. The check-in clerk, Anna, was very friendly, professional, and helpful. She seemed genuinely concerned that we had a comfortable, pleasant experience at this hotel. She was very helpful in directing us to the "River Walk" and a great place to have dinner. The room was clean, spacious, […] and comfortable; it would be nice to have a thermostat on the air conditioner, so that it didn't just run cool air all night. The hot breakfast was superb; excellent choices for the whole family. The lady working the breakfast room was very hard-working and friendly; she seemed very concerned that all the guests had a good, hot breakfast in a clean, cozy environment. This Comfort Inn was nicely maintained, in a convenient location to skiing and eating, and had very friendly staff. The staff was very very friendly and helped us in all way they could. Breakfast was more than we expected. And again the staff was superb. The stay was a full success. If you like mini golf you have to play at the Rochy Mountain Mini Golf on Rainbow Blvd. It was the best course I have ever played throughout Europe and the US!!!

This was my third stay at this hotel and I absolutely love it. Came with my wife and two young daughters. Staff/owners could not be nicer or more helpful. Pool/hot tub area was immaculate and the breakfast included in the room rate was much better than most. I love this hotel! The staff was so accomendating. There were several families that stayed here after a basketball game so our teenagers could go skiing the next day.
