We used the Baymont Inn for a get-a-way from the in-laws during the holidays and it was perfect for us. The room was large and gave us plenty of room... for us and our dog. The hardwood floors assured us that there wouldn't be any leftovers from previous dog owners. They could use something better for a dog walk area but all in all it was fine for our use. The room had a fridge and microwave which came in handy. Although the complementary breakfast didn't off much it was plenty to stave off the hunger pains until the feasting began. The toilet wouldn't flush. If you waited a half hour you could get it to but in themorning who can wait 30 minutes between use with 4 people in the same room....

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast is available each morning. The only thing I could suggest is that the decor could us some updating.

We chose the Baymont Inn because it accepts pets. Unfortunately, the rooms for people with pets are on the freeway side of the motel. The noise was awful. On the second night, we ran the fan all night to try to drown out the freeway noise to no avail. And for a motel that accepts pets, you would think there would be a little grassy area for the pets. […] Not here. My dog went on the rocks. The only highlight of our stay was a lovely Japanese woman who works in the breakfast dining area. She was quite pleasant. The other staff, not so much. Also, this is supporsed to be a non-smoking facility but the first room we checked into obviously had a recent smoker. If you're planning on staying here because you have a pet, keep looking! The service was good, breakfast was nice, the room was comfortable, and the kids enjoyed a swim in the pool. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting to stay in the Totem Lake area north of Kirkland.
