This B&B is a very good value. The location is perfect - very close to Volcanoes Nat'l Park. It is run by a couple who is very friendly and happy to provide advice on sightseeing. This is a house and there are two rooms they rent out, which are on the opposite side of the house so it feels private. I enjoyed our stay there very much.

This B&B was just as the other reviewers described. The home was very nicely decorated, clean, and inviting. We stayed in Kili's Room, which was perfect for the three of us. Our son enjoyed watching their horse and goats roaming around the back of their property in the morning. The animals didn't make a peep and we found the place to be very, very quiet. […] We also had our own bathroom which was a plus. It is very close to Volcanoes National Park and is easy to find, as it is truly "At the End of the Road" on Haunani Road. Just keep driving past the Dead End sign until you run out of road. At the End of the Road B&B was a real treat on our visit to Big Island, it really felt like visiting old friends. The location is perfect for visiting the Volcano Park, although it can be a bit tricky to find without a GPS (the hosts will send you detailed instructions, though). The house indeed is located At the End of the Road, however pretty easy to find, you just drive all the way down and you will find it. It is very quiet since the house is the last one on the road, and it is sitting on a land with good size. Our stay was pleasant. We arrived 5 PM with a picnic dinner. They were gone on an errand but left keys. We ate our picnic dinner in our car in their beautiful yard. It would be nice if they had some chairs and maybe a small table outside to enjoy the nice natural setting. The owners arrived at 6 Pm and greeted us. It is just an OK accommodation. The description does not say it is indeed at the end of a VERY LONG narrow road which at some sections make you think you are going into the wilderness. I would recommend folks visiting Volcano NP to stay at Hilo instead. You drive another 20 to 30 minutes but to a much better environment than this funky surrounding. The […] hosts are not very friendly either. The breakfast is really skimpy. You have a choice of a bagel, or 2 toasts, or 2 pieces of homemade banana bread, a juice or a papaya cup (papaya can be bought at 5 for a $1 at Hilo farmer's market and the fruit cup consisted less than 1/4 of a papaya!) and you have to ask for refill for your coffee or tea. At the End of the Road B&B was an excellent find for our one night stay in Volcano. We spent the day exploring the Volcanoes National Park and had arranged a late check-in. Ray was very welcoming when we arrived and didn't mind that we wanted to head back out to see the volcano at night. His wife Lani wasn't there when we stayed but she had emailed me when we booked, with information about the volcano and national park - very useful. The B&B was extremely clean and comfortable and the owners had thought about all the extra touches like cold drinking water and toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent too and we didn't feel under any pressure to rush, staying to chat in fact for a couple of hours. Overall, if we were staying in the area again we'd head back to this B&B with no hesitation. You're made to feel as if Ray and Lani's home is your own and they're delighted to have you stay with them. Excellent. Read more

チェックインの時間が決まっているものの、電話で遅れると伝えておけば、チェックインの時間以外でも、チェックインできる。電話するのが、難しければ、一回チェックインすれば、あとは、自由に外出できる。 キラウエア火山まで近く、アクセスも良い。 ホテルまでの道順が分かりにくいが、夜はとても静かで、星がきれいに見える。 ご夫婦２人で経営しているため、とてもアットホームで、過ごしやすい。 朝ごはんもおいしい。

volcanoに行くなら、近くて便利です。ただし、車がないと無理です。ホテルというよりも、ホームステイといった感じ。英語が話せないと、コミュニケーションが難しいかも。部屋は禁煙、アルコール禁止、冷蔵庫・エアコンはありません。鍵がかからない部屋なので、セキュリティ的に不安ではありますね。。。4分進んだ道の突き当りにあり、かなり静かな環境です。

ちょっと町からはずれにあるので途中心配になります。 しかし着いてしまえば大丈夫です。 とても親切な夫婦がもてなしてくれます。 私たち日本人にも好意的にもてなしていただきました。 部屋は清潔でしたがベッドが少しやらかかった（個人的に）のと、バスがシャワーとバスタブの切り替え、水抜きに苦労しましたのでその点は改善されるとよいと思います。 朝食はマフィンかパンケーキか選べたり、その量や質にも気を配られており（お代わりは言えばもらえる）完璧でした。 ボルケーノの情報も交換できましたので私たちにとっては良い宿でした。 田舎のB&Bに興味のある方は是非どうぞ。

Nettes familiäres von einem älteren Ehepaar geführtes kleines B&B. Die Eigner sind auch sehr nett und helfen einem gern weiter bei Fragen zur Reiseplanung etc. Liegt direkt im Volcano NP...jedoch gaaaanz am Ende der Strasse wie der Name schon sagt. Am besten nicht im Dunkeln ankommen, damit man den Weg findet! ;-)
