Perfectly located close to Volcano NP. Clean room, very good breakfast and individual service. Breakfast was provided on our request at 3.30 AM! Free internet. Very helpful hosts!

We stayed in "Orchid Suite" which is two rooms, my teenager son enjoyed the open loft room with Books to read. My 7 yrs old daughter liked better than Hilton Waikoloa Village. The house is old but owner kept it very clean. Owner was very nice & friendly, talked to us a lot to make sure we were comfortable. The bathroom /shower facilities were very nice. Positive. The bed was made out of some sort of a 6" platform with an old spring and mattress on it. You have to see it to really believe it. The place had a log cabin-like feel. The owner was very welcoming. We stayed in the Orchid Suite. The room and bathroom were clean. The mattress was pretty uncomfortable. The breakfast was very basic. It consisted of raisin toast, half a guava, a few bites of pineapple, orange juice, and coffee. Everything I'd read in the travel books said I could expect desolate lava flows around Volcano, HI. But we stayed surrounded by RAINFORESTS and beauty. Excellent nearby restaurant at Kilaue Lodge.

No complaints in general and B&B was very convenient to volcano area. Mein host (Fritz) made us very welcome and was ready to do what he could to make us comfortable. Breakfast was fruit and scones as well as instant porridge and cereal. B&B is wood and not insulated therefore most sounds carry. We had one night with noisy guests in another room followed […] by one peaceful night. We also heard Fritz preparing breakfast at 6am in the morning. In fairness, I wore earplugs both nights and slept soundly, but my wife didn't and was disturbed. My summary is 4 out of 5, nothing wrong with the B&B, very convenient to the volcano park and TAKE EARPLUGS! Read more

ホテルの場所は、注意深く行けば間違いなく見つかります。小さいですが看板も出ています。私たちは5人だったので、貸切で宿泊できました。4人の部屋と2人の部屋なので、5人以上なら貸切になります。タラさんがとても優しいです。夜は山の中なので、真っ暗だし、静寂です。車で5分くらいの場所にレストランなどはありますが、真っ暗な中に出かけるなら、カーナビがあるほうが無難でしょう。私たちは、持っていたパンがあったので、食卓を貸していただいて食事をしました。トースターやレンジなど自由に使っていいと言ってくださいました。お茶などの種類も豊富で（10種類以上）、どれも美味しかったです。ミルクも自由に飲んでいいと言われました。朝ご飯は、パンとフレークを自由に食べていいと言われ、トロピカルフルーツをきれいにカットして出 […] してくれました。とっても美味しかったです。もちろんお茶やコーヒーも飲み放題でした。山の中なので、やはり朝夕は冷え込みました。朝は、薪をくべて暖炉を入れてくれていました。お風呂は、ドアの仕切りがあるシャワースペースがあり、バスタブも分かれていたので、水のはねについて気にしないでシャワーを浴びることができましたが、さすがに5人なので、お湯を使いきってしまうことがあり、そんな時は少し待つとお湯が出ました。それ以外は、注意する点はありませんでした。またぜひ泊りたいです。 Read more

キラウエア火山近くのホテルを探していて、ここに宿泊しました。宿泊数日前に予約が取れたので、人気がないホテルかな？と期待はゼロでした。 とても素敵なロッジでバスタブもありました。豪華なホテルを希望される方には向きませんが、何もない山の中でゆっくり過ごすにはとても良いと思います。 徒歩圏内には何もありませんが、車で５分ほど行けばタイレストランや小さなお店があります。
