The hotel was really nice- Our family of 4 had a weekend get-away in the greater Portland area. Courtyard was conveniently close to the freeway, but no... freeway noise - rooms were comfortable (one complaint was the beds were a bit too firm for me & mrs.), TV was nice, indoor Pool & Jacuzzi was open late (11pm) which was great for our teenage girls to swim & soak. - It was clean without being extremely chlorine-y. Towel service by pool, so you don't have to worry. Workout room was bigger than average, though we didn't take advantage of it. Our hotel stay at the Courtyard Marriott was pretty good. I would stay here again. The bathrooms could use updating as the tile did not look the cleanest. The king bed was very comfy, but the sofa bed...not so much. The pool and hot tub were great! :) The lobby was very chic and modern. :) Check-in was a slight hassle. Had called the hotel earlier about […] not wanting to use a credit card for incidentals, but rather cash for a deposit. Got the ok on that, but when we arrived, it was a very different story. They insisted on using my debit card for an authorization along with the cash. My hotel had already been prepaid. I haven't had this happen with other Courtyard Marriotts. Read more
