"Weekend Ski trip with son"

"Microtel in Hazelton - Clean and not micro"
We made a impromptu visit to Deep Creek Lake, and needed a place to fit family of 6. After reading the review from Trip Advisor, I decidede against some of the resorts in the area. I always reserve hotel that's clean, even If I have to pay premium. I saw a good review on this hotel instead. I've been to other Microtels before, so I knew their rooms […] were small, but clean. So I reserved 2 rooms instead. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was bigger than other Microtel I visited. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The selections were simple and basic, but I was happy to find sausage gravy with biscuits, my favorite breakfast item. It's only 30 minutes from Deep Creek Lake, so we are definitely staying here again when we come back for ski in winter. By the way, the hotel is not easy to find, and our GPS gave us wrong direction. "Good clean place"

The rooms were comfortable and the people at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. I appreciated having the breakfast provided as it helped us get to our destination in the morning more quickly. "The Microtel Hotel-Close to Deep Creek Lake, MD"
I've never stayed at a microtel, always afraid because I thought the quality and cleanliness would be an issue. I was proven wrong! I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in vacationing in the Deep Creek Lake area but don't want to pay the prices for that location. "Great value - Beware of road"
We have stayed here before and will keep coming back. It is clean, inexpensive and has a decent free breakfast. The beds are wonderful. The only drawback is the road up to the hotel.
