"No regard for guests"
Final night of stay occured after Green Bay Packers victory. Hotel security and front desk allowed for partying, disruption, door slamming, yelling in the hallways (open courtyard within hotel makes for a very loud echo and for sound to travel to all levels of the hotel). After calling the front desk to ask them to stop the noise, the disruption continued […] until our check out at 5:00 am. Loud guests were allowed to behave this way without warning from security from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am. Absolutely infuriating; at no point did security make an attempt to have them stop and simply ignored their behavior. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a four star hotel"
Although the staff is well meaning, the hotel is definitely not even close to a four star rating. The bath tub and showers looked like a cheap remodel, old plastic curtains, old TV in bedroom. Awoke to the smell of onions and grease each morning with buffet open to the rooms. Noisy with three weddings at hotel. Asked for tea with room service and received […] old coffee pots with cheap tea bags. Location surrounded by cement. Landscaping/greenery almost non-existent. Restaurant and bar had very basic food. No effort to create health conscious/sustainable/local menu. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Changing rooms"
The first room that we were put into had a balcony patio door that opened up onto a roof that shared six or seven other patio doors. Our door would not lock and they were unable to fix it so we had to move to another room. The desk forgot to have us sign some papers so we were called down to do that just as we were getting settled. It was one thing […] after another. Then breakfast was cold and we were told that at least half of the pan would have to be gone before they would bring out more warm scrambled eggs. We had a great time there for July 4th. in 2010 but 2011 was a dud. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Poor Service--Stay Somewhere Else!!!"
Checked in on a Thursday night after booking a double occupancy room. I had called in advance to request one king bed vs. 2 queens as I was traveling with my fiance. On the phone they said that it wouldn't be a problem as long as there was availability when we checked in. When we checked in, however, the girl at the desk was very rude and told us it […] would be a $20/night charge to "upgrade." The hotel was nowhere near capacity. Then we ate dinner at the restaurant, where my order was made incorrectly twice before finally getting it right after a long wait. The following night I asked for 2 extra pillows for our room and was told by the front desk staff, "We don't do that." WHAT?!? Are you serious? Their reasoning was that all the rooms have 9 pillows to begin with. I had to convince them that the most we ever had was 4 (which was the truth) before they made a secret walkie-talkie call and then told me, "We don't have any extras." After suggesting they take some from an empty room, I FINALLY got my pillows. Overall, the staff is generally impolite and not very concerned with your comfort or the quality of your stay. Definitely the worst service of any hotel I've stayed at, and I travel frequently. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hyatt on Main, Green Bay Thank you for choosing Hotel Sierra during your most recent visit to the Green Bay area. We want to first apologize for the room and rate discrepancy during your stay with us on Thursday for two nights. It sounds like when you booked your reservations it was booked as ROH which is a room assigned at check in. Selecting this option is a great price however, you are not guaranteed a specific room type. We have also spoken with our Guest Services Department to ensure that professional and courteous service is provided when speaking with guests. As we have received many great reviews on our Customer Service and apologize if the answers given in regard to your room type booked were not conveyed politely and professionally. With regard to your experience in the restaurant, we certainly apologize that there was an issue with your order. This is completely unacceptable and would be happy to discuss this with you to correct this matter. Again, thank you for choosing Hotel Sierra Green Bay and we hope we have the opportunity to host you again.
