"Nearby Strip"
I recently stayed at this hotel on a family vacation. The staff was very friendly, they provided the guests with cookies and popcorn upon arrival and throughout the day. The breakfast was awful, only provided cereal and hard biscuits with gravy. The pool area was nice and opened 24hours but the room was stinky. The smell of the blankets on the bed was […] awful. The room smelled like the carpet was spoiled and the blanket smelled that way as well. The floor was dirty with leaves as soon as you walked in and they did not provide a microwave in the room!!!! I felt the rates could have been lower do to the room area and the conditions of the rooms. They do allow pets which is not a good thing for everyone who do not like pets!!!! The room was located off the strip all by itself, but was close to the strip and other shopping areas and attractions. "Lodge at the Falls in Branson"
Front desk staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Room was adequate, clean, lots of towels, beds were reasonably comfortable. The amenities that were listed included, in part, microwave in every room and wifi. There was no microwave in our room when we got there. However, I asked at the front desk about one, and it was delivered to our room […] within the hour. Wifi reception was spotty at best. Cookies and popcorn were available every evening in the lobby. Continental breakfast consisted of mostly starchy foods, toast, bagels, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, etc. No fruit or eggs. Not the best foods to have if you have a medical problem (i.e. diabetes) so after the first morning, we ate breakfast elsewhere. Overall, for the price, it was pretty much what we expected. The Lodge at the Falls is an older hotel that has been remodeled. It was convenient parking directly in front of the room, and not carrying luggage down a long hallway and waiting on an elevator like you do in newer hotels. This was nice smaller hotel. It was easy to get to and off the main road so it was quiet. It was nice to have popcorn in the afternoon and cookies at night. The breakfast was adequate. This was a decent hotel for the price. My son loved the cookies and popcorn and the staff were really sweet. The only problem I had was that my kids found a partially full can of chewing tobacco and some other random things on the floor that the maid apparently missed during cleaning. "Great stay"
Had a great time. Room was comfortable and quiet, staff courteous and helpful. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool and the Breakfast biscuits and gravy, donuts, bagels etc were delicious and they kept it well stocked right up till every one was gone. This is a GREAT place to stay. Welcoming staff was very helpful and eager to assist us on directions, etc. The warm freshly cooked cookies 8-10 pm daily, and the popcorn was an added treat my family loved. The big pool had nice warm water. Try to stay on the mountain view side and enjoy the views. We were on the 3rd floor and the view was awesome. Breakfast […] was great. Ask for their maps which show lots of locations and an easy way to get around HWY 76 tedious drive. We also enjoyed the two pianos in the lobby. "Perfect"
Really liked this hotel. Needed one last minute and they gave me a good discount. I hate hotel beds, but these were actually comfy beds. Liked the fact they had a fridge to hold all the drinks I brought. They also have a microwave and safe in the rooms. Only thing I seen that was a downer was the showers are a little short..I'm 5'2'' and the shower […] head is right at my heighth, but who cares its a shower, I'm more worried about the bed.
