Baymont Inn and Suites Branson - on The Strip

We had a very nice stay at the baymont. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the jacuzzi was a very nice addition! The location isn't great but it's tolerable.

The room was quiet on the 5th floor, less people booked in I suppose, with the exception of police/fire sirens heard outside a few times down Main St. that night, not the hotels fault. The shower enclosure itself is really […] small and narrow if you are a big,brawny, wide or tall person even at 5'10 220Lb and you drop the soap in the shower don't expect to be able to pick it up easily without exiting the shower first, there is no room to even bend over. The jetted tub was relaxing, though the Hot/Cold knobs off position was a bit confusing the knobs spin round and round until you find just the right spot that the water shuts off, strange. The building condition inside overall is showing some age and wear, carpet, walls etc. On the room cleanliness side, the one thing that bothered me was that the hotel book on room desk was smeared with ??? I don't know ??? seriously gross though. Now I'm not a Germophobe, but If they can't even wipe a plastic book cover off, it made me wonder what else they'd shortcut on or miss? Read more

The Baymont is an older property, but a good value just off the highway on the strip. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and fridge and microwave were a great benefit. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly and they had fresh cookies at night Mon-Thurs. Our room even had a jetted bathtub.

Our stay was great we looked on the site and seen we could take our pets when we arrived we had to pay extra wich was not on the website so better support on the website and the indoor pool and spa was suppost to be open but when we arrived they had it shut down for maintenance once again not on the website

Can't speak for all rooms - but 507 will not work for anyone over 4' 8". Smallest shower stall I've ever seen and the shower head is too low for most adults. Same with mirror in bathroom - we had to sit on chairs to dry our hair! Meanwhile - there's enough empty space in the bathroom for a MUCH bigger shower. What on earth was someone thinking? Manager […] said they'd had several similar complaints. Well?? Then fix it! Also NO towel rods in bathroom. And the temperature control in the shower is so sensitive, a fraction of an inch is the difference between scalding and freezing. Had to move the guest chair and it was FILTHY underneath it. Walls are paper thin. I heard people sneezing from different rooms and I heard them using the restroom. For the money I spent I would have thought it would have been better but oh well. The best part of using this hotel was that it was very close to the Landing. The hotel was clean enough, but nothing to write home about; the bed was uncomfortable, the room and bath were clean; the staff was friendly and responsive, and the breakfast was OK but somewhat sparse.

Your website stated the hotel had a hot tub-it was boarded up! Pool was so freezing cold you turned purple in a few minutes. Our room was filthy!!! There was so much dust on top of the mini fridge that we wrote "Dust Me" on it the first day-never was dusted. the room was great. there was only one elevator to service 5 floors so at busy times we would have to wait a while. breakfast was disapointing not a whole lot of variety and was in a really small room that was hard to get around in with so many other people. parking was down hill and not close. thank goodness we only stayed one night.

I traveled to Branson as an anniversary present. We had a great time! The hotel is in a great location not right in the middle of the strip but still close to everything and also close to the landing! Our room was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable! The room also allows for you to control your own air conditioning which I loved because I prefer to have my bedroom cold so I was able to do so each night. My boyfriend and I stayed in a room with king bed and jacuzzi tub and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay at a nice hotel while in Branson, or even looking for a little romance in their stay. There are definitely some sketchy looking hotels on the strip and in the area surrounding our hotel, but ours was definitely above average and I would recommend it to everyone! Read more

Located on the Main Street, so everything was just short drive…nothing in walking distance really, though. Next time we’re in Branson we’ll probably look for a newer hotel on The Landing or something a little further down the road in walking distance to some shows. The interior of the rooms kind of feels old. The musty smell mostly went away once we cranked the AC window unit. We had a King bed with a Jacuzzi in the room. The Jacuzzi had kind of a yellowish stained look to the bottom portion of it. We did not feel comfortable enough to use it. The hotel photos show a full shower/bath tub in the bathroom, but our room had a tiny one-person shower…seriously I think the shower on our cruise ship was bigger when we took our honeymoon. Instead of turning a knob to turn on the water, there’s a lever that sticks straight out. While turning around in the shower I accidentally bumped the lever turning the water all the way to hot and burned myself before I was able to turn the heat back down. We called the front desk to ask if there was a King sized room without a Jacuzzi and just a normal sized shower. They told us that all of the King rooms were set up the same way. We did not use the pool or work out facilities, so I can’t really give a review for them. Read more

We were first given a handicapped room on the first floor, facing the highway. We requested a change since we 1) didn't need handicapped, 2) didn't want to be on first floor, and 3) didn't want to face the highway. The desk clerk was very accommodating, and we ended up with a delightful, cozy room on the fifth floor, facing the beautiful, quiet "back […] yard." The hotel was convenient to many attractions. We loved the computer available to guests. The breakfasts were wonderful, with lots of options. I would have liked fresh oranges instead of just orange juice, but everything was tasty. The fitness room was a bit disappointing. Only one of the three machines worked. Hotel maintenance said they had already contacted the company from whom they lease the machines, but no one had shown up yet to repair them. (We did do lots of walking and running outside in the cool mornings.) A weight machine or free weights would have been nice, too. There wasn't much space on the floor for stretching out after a workout. On the plus side, the fitness room was well-stocked with towels, hand sanitizer, and a water cooler with delightfully cold water. And it had a nice flat-screen TV and a great view out the window. The bed in our room had a very comfy mattress, and the bedding was very nice. The pillows were small and lumpy...bring your own if you prefer. The room had a fridge and microwave, which we always love. The fridge was a little too cold...froze our sugar snap peas. Read more
