"Not what I expected"
I was thinking I had found a gem when I read all of the positive reviews, but truthfully I was not impressed. Our carpet had big visible stain marks on it that just set the tone for making me feel like we weren't in a clean place. The bathrooms and sheets seemed clean, but I couldn't get past the disgusting carpet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not here again"
Have you noticed most of the good things said on these reviews were actually about Branson, not this hotel? Not a good choice of places to stay in Branson, I’ll try my best to shorten this review. Stayed 4 nights. There were 2 children, about 9 & 11 yrs old, running along the 3rd floor balcony and up and down the stairs getting drinks and snacks and […] talking loud until about midnight for the last 2 and the hotel did nothing because I didn’t know what room they were in. Why didn’t THEY sit out in the 22deg midnight weather to find out instead of expecting me? If you do Branson well, you will need your rest. They ran out of food for breakfast twice and the day they had eggs (biscuits & gray one day, eggs the next are the hot breakfast they advertised) they were like over cooked yellow leather patties. They charge you extra for a bottom floor room but the second floor is also called bottom because you can walk all the way from the front parking lot to the back of the hotel, all on the same level. Location was good but so were most of the others I saw during my 5 days here. Free WiFi ? Well they don’t divulge you have to log in with your real name, address and email address to get online. I threatened to leave 30 min. after I got here so they told me how to get online without letting them spam me to death later or sell my name and address. "Ok for Price No Thrill Hotel........"
Room beds say they are Queens but they are cut short on sides to cost less and are more like full size. Shower head was broke, but they did replace it. Beds are ok soft but not plush pillow tops as decribed. Bedding is cheap and had holes burned into them. Went to free breakfast only one day, it was packed and not much to offer. "Great for families with screaming kids and no parental control"
We stayed here for five days and our room was located upstairs the third room from stairs. A lot of noise kids with parents screaming at their kids. The drinking fountain in the main office didn't work. Trash outside the door down stairs was never clean in five days. Pool was dirty. Next time I'll drive around before I book a motel.
