Rodeway Inn Casino Center

We prefer the motels in the trees just off the Tahoe strip, and Rodeway is one of the best. Super clean, no problems. FYI the pool is not year-round as advertised.

Bathroom was more updated, but the toilet seat was broken. Everything else was old - including the Zenith TV. Just sprayed lots of Lysol and at least had good sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were close to the rstaurants and casinos. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. Not very spacious but cozy. Our only complaint was the parking. The lot was small. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

We hadn't been to Tahoe in 10 years! So we were very excited! Walk to casinos, shopping, beach, and restaurants! Our only complaint, would be the sounds in the halls, we could hear doors slamming, and voices, mornings and nights. One other issue, the use of "Styrofoam " cups and plates during breakfast! There is NO excuse for using "Styrofoam"

I really liked our stay at the Rhode-way Inn at South Lake Tahoe. The room was comfortable, and ample enough for our over night stay. The breakfast was quite good except for way too many people in the kitchen area during the morning rush. Massive crowding caused confusion of the line of people, and everyone was scrambling to get there place in an unorganized […] manner. There was barely any food left when we arrived at 8 am. This is a motel split on both sides of the road. The bed was too hard for me, but many might like a hard bed. The rooms are small but OK. We were moved to a room with a King size bed which makes the room feel smaller. I think that this was the best buy I've found at Tahoe mid-week. We needed a place to relax and this was it. The pool and spa was sparkling clean and very inviting. Staff was very courteous and helpful to make sure any needs were met. The hotel is located perfectly - we walked to everywhere we wanted/needed to go for 2 days before having to move our vehicle from the covered parking. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The location of the hotel was walking distance to the beach and downtown. I would stay there again. Infact, we enjoyed Tahoe so much we asked to stay another night at the same great rate and they matched it!

We booked last minute before Memorial Day was nothing fancy but very comfortable and affordable. The blowdryer did not work well you had to push the on button and keep pushing it down while blowdrying other than this the room was clean and it was about 3 long blocks to walk to Harrah's. They even have room service imagine that pretty good selection. […] They have continental breakfast when I looked all they had was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cereal not good selection but then again I went late. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is trying save some money and travel. I have to say this was a very comfortable bed had a good night sleep. Oh one more thing when we parked in the back we seen a coyote by the dumpster this was crazy but pretty cool to see wild life right before your eyes. The coyote did not bother anyone was looking for food that was all. Overall had a great time at Tahoe and make sure you ride the Gondolas well worth it. Read more

This definitely isn't "luxury", but it was clean and the front office staff was really nice. The breakfast in the morning was also a nice spread. For our little one night stay, it worked out just fine. We could walk to the Casinos and town for dinner and shopping and enjoyed our stay.

We have season passes for Heavenly so this hotel has the best deal on rooms in all of South Lake Tahoe. It is very clean and the staff are are very nice. The casinos are within walking distance as well as the Heavenly Gondola. The free breakfast makes this place too good to be true!! You can book this place with confidence!

Walking distance to the Casinos and beach. That's the only good thing I can say about this hotel. Very small room. Dirty walls and dirty blankets on the bed. Walked out and gave the keys back.

Considering the price of motels in Tahoe this Rodeway Inn was a great deal, waffle breakfast included. The Rodeway are two separate buliding, don' t know which is newer, nevertheless I was not impressed for cleanliness of our room. Also beach pass included in the price, very cheap.

Well it was a cheap room- cant beat 89 bucks on a labor day holiday weekend. The cheif complaint is when we entered our room for the first time we were met with a repugnant odor- as if the room hadn't aired out in months. We quickley aired out our room and then it was OK.

This stay was comfortable and located within walking distance of the fun in the stateline area. We used the pool and the free beach pass to a private beach down the street. I would definitely stay there again.

I was skeptical this hotel would be much better than a "crash pad" for grizzled gamblers when I booked it. In fact it was very clean, the staff was very nice, we were given passes to the private beach and a reminder about the continental breakfast, and our room had a small balcony. The room was a single queen non smoking. It was exactly that and not much else. It's great if you're going to Tahoe and just need a cheap place to stay. The room was clean and didn't smell. The bathroom was a good size and had lots of hot water for showers. The tv worked well, there was good enough closet space and the bed was fine. My one complaint […] would be the pillows..so uncomfortable! Bring your own! Other than that, it's small but it works fine for two people who just need a place to crash. I really enjoyed my stay at Rodeway Inn Casino Center. The staff was very friendly and service minded - while the location of the hotel is very good. The hotel had cheap washing and drying facilities, while there was an outside an outside BBQ and eating area. We used these facilities quite a bit.
