it was in an average location off the main drag. Paint chips coming off the tiles in the shower. breakfast was ok. scrambled eggs and sausage mix and potatoes got me thru the first portion of the day at kirkwood. Also, the heater was loud and cover was broken

Best motel value I have ever had. Although the room was very small, it was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The room was small but clean. The bathroom needed a lot of work done to it but the shower worked good. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was because it offered free breakfast with stay but it was so crowded in the breakfast area that we couldn't move and all the tables were taken so we ended up leaving.

Hotel was ok but all the outside noise is inside. even walk/flush of toilets upstairs/neighbors are audible clearly. Breakfast was good but when we went it was too crowded.. Good thing is it has private beach access which helped me to take wonderful photos of the sunset :-)

Room was small and old but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great but a lot of noise, you can hear everything next door specialy when there're kids and pets. Next time I'llmake sure no pets and kids next door, that was our nightmare.

The hotel is located almost right next to Harvey's...very convenient. The price was very reasonable compared to most of the other hotels in the area. The room reeked of vomit the second day of our stay. The vomit was from myself, and was cleaned up relatively well, however the smell lingered for the remainder of our stay. Stayed at this inn for five days. Positives: Good location, walking distance to lake, casinos and gondola. Hot water available for showers at anytime. Water pressure was good. Bed was comfortable. Small refrigerator and microwave in room was a plus. Heater kept the room warm (22 degrees F outside at night while 70 degrees F in room). Small private […] balcony. Common area kitchen room available to all guests in the building. The building I stayed had adequate parking (there was a car port section to keep the snow from accumlating on the car). Friendly staff. Negatives: Heater was a bit noisy (I couldn't find a way to turn the fan off and keep the heat on). Room 230 had a slight moody smell which appeared to come from the bottom of the shower curtain facing outward. WiFi was variable, at times I couldn't stream a short two minute video without picture stuttering. King bed occupied most of the room. Pillows were too soft (I had to put 2-3 under my head). Free breakfast area was across the street at another building. Overall an average budget inn for guys, women might be disappointed. Not a room for your first weekend get away date, but good enough for a buddies adventure weekend. Read more

I was informed that I was staying at a hotel with a casino in it. This is not true there is casinos around the area but not in the hotel. The manager informed us that this has been a problem for them because people get upset when he tells them there is no casino.

This hotel is very conveniently located to just about everything and the staff were very accomodating. There's the bonus. However, if you're expecting modern or updated, you're going to have to wait until you go to breakfast to see the charmingly updated dining area. The room I stayed in was no bigger than a closet and the shower stall really needed […] replacing. It was cracked and broken and I don't see how they're NOT getting some kind of water damage to the unit below. The cap on the hot water handle kept falling off and after hitting the top of my foot, I decided "heck" with it and left it off. The hair dryer mount was just kinda hanging on the wall as the screws that kept it bolted down were stripped. Which I found out when I went to use it and that too fell off the wall. Would I stay there again? No. I value my sleep and there was no sleeping on the rock hard mattress and pillows. Read more

The staff was very accommodating about offering a room close to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub has good jets but the water quality was poor. The first night we were assigned to room 215. It had a humid smell but we assumed that the room had been closed for a while. During the night my wife were both awakened by the smell in the room. There is nothing fancy about this hotel. It is clean and neat, close to the casinos and the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good: cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, toast, fruit. Perfect to start the day out. A really nice, inexpensive place to stay for a night or two!

My wife booked this reservation for two rooms for two nights. We had to leave after the first night. We asked for a handicap room because we traveled with an 83 years old man. He is barely able to move around with a walker. He fell in the bathroom, there was no grab bars. He wasn't injured but it ruined the mini vacation we were taking.

The hair dryer quit working on the second day and the temperature switch on the heating/air conditioner was broken. I couldn't change the temperature to a higher number. I left a note for the hotel. I felt very comfortable and safe.

The room was the smallest motel room i have ever seen. The bed hurt my back. Everything looked old and outdated. It did include a hot breakfast, with few choices, that was only so-so.
