"Never Again. Really, never again"
Parking fee is crazy! Front Desk Manager was rude. Have to pay for Internet. Room still had tube TV's. Internet slow as molasses. Next time I would rather walk an extra 50 yards and stay at Harrah'sGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was ok"
We decided to stay here versus where we normally do because it was cheaper but by the time you add in valet and wireless it wound up about the same. The remote in the living room was not working upon arrival and had to call for another. They delivered another but did not take the remote that was not working. You had to call valet services to retrieve […] anything you forgot in the car which was kind of a pain and then the item was left in an unattended bell room and they did not contact me (my item happened to be my computer). It was a suite and did have a refrig and microwave but not one utensil so we either had to bring plastic ware or go searching for silverware. No plates or cups or mugs either except what was there for coffee. The breakfast was great but we were told incorrect times it was being served. My car keys were left at an unattended valet stand and I had to retrieve them on my own they had a valet chasing my car down to reprimand me as we were driving away. Valet service and bell person service felt very forced and obligatory and of course tips were a constant. It was very quiet but the bedroom windows were not sealed well and the bedroom versus the lviing room was very cold. We walked less than a block to the casinos. Overall just ok. "Nice rooms- Weird Lobby"
Decent rates and good location if you want to be close to "the action" in south shore. My only critique is the whole "let's build a fake outdoors indoors" feel to the lobby... "Great pace to stay"
I enjoy staying at Embassy Suites hotels. The free breakfast and free cocktail reception are a big plus. The room was great, however we are in the year 2012, upgrade the in-room television sets to flat screens. the only thing I did not like was that parking at the hotel was valae only and it was $25 a day. "Perfect for what we wanted"
The manager's reception in the evening was great. There was a musician out front and people dancing. The morning buffet looked good from the 6th floor balcony but we did not eat there because it was over crowded. The television had an issue with low volume and we had move all the furniture closer to the tv so all of us could hear it. I really liked the location, especially, for children to stay in. They felt really safe, and all the employees were wonderful. I would definitely stay there again. Embassy Suites is a nice hotel, but this one hasnt changed in years. The interior is a bit outdated, both in the rooms and elsewhere. The breakfast food flavor was bland like a school lunch cafeteria. I wasn't too happy about also having to pay extra for the guests in my room. Apperently, this was to pay for the coctail reception and breakfast, but […] I have never had to pay this fee before. Not the first time we've stayed here and won't be the last. Complimentary made to order omelet breakfast included, comp cocktails and beers in the evening. The hotel offers laundry facilities but way too many people using them, even in the wee hours of the morning. No flat panel TV’s though but since I only watch the news and sports updates, no biggie. I love staying at this hotel because you get free drinks and breakfast. The only bad thing was that the hotel was really dated. The rooms looked like they were from 1985. If I'm going to pay a premium by staying at this hotel I'd rather pay the same price and stay at Harrah's where the rooms are updated. Excellent. We had 8 in our group and had a fabulous time. We had a great place to meet for Happy Hour and Breakfast. High quality in all area's. "The Embassy suites at Lake Tahoe"
The staff was friendly, the room was clean. The location of this hotel is perfect. The breakfast is free every morning which is a good way to load up before a day of skiing. If you drink then the afternoon social is a good way to meet new friends. Its free too. The pool, hot tub, and workout area is nice. If you want free water, then bring your water […] bottle, and fill it up everyday at the water station in the gym. Clean cold water, and its free. We also used the washer and dryer to clean our clothes. This is handy, so pack light and just knock out a load of clothes while your there. Schlechtes Massen-Frühstück, Innenbereiche des Hotels sehen aus wie im Gefängnis auf Alcatraz. Parken sehr teuer und nur Valet.... Skigebiet lohnt sich.
