Very impressed, especially given what I thought was a low price for a hotel room. The place seems to be very new, I reserved a one-bedroom suite and it was more than plenty of room, the kitchenette was a great have for the room. Everything was very clean, and the staff were extrememly friendly. The amenities were sufficient, there was easy access to […] the highway, and to Dulles airport, and the on-location cafe/bar/breakfast were very good. The only minor issue, for me, was that the gym was rather small - with 2 ellipticals, 3 treadmills, a bike, some dumbells, and one exercise bench, so if you require real workouts, you'll need to find a local gym, or get very creative with the available equipment. I had the most amazing stay here! Ricardo at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and friendly. He upgraded our room and made our stay unbelievably wonderful. The room was modern, spacious and immaculately clean. The studio was perfect if your traveling with your family due to the full size refrigerator, utensils, pots, pans and stove, etc.... I thought the room was excellent, I needed handi capp bathroom,prosthetic leg doesn't go in the shower. this was good room and the access was good. loved the kitchenet and the coffee and tea was great. "Disappointed"
Our stay was over the Thanskgiving holiday, we traveled with our pet which the hotel was notified prior to my arrival that a pet would be accompanying. We were placed on the 6th floor of the hotel, taking our dog outside was not very accommodating. Other hotels I have stayed at always places visitors with pets on the ground level. Leaving the dog behind […] in its crate while we were away from the hotel for dinner, I placed a " no housekeeping" sign on my door, while I was out of the room, housekeeping entered my room despite the request for no entry. The explanation I received from management was that because no sign was placed on my door stating a pet was located inside, had that sign been placed on my door housekeeping would not enter. I felt our request for privacy had been violated and that the hotels explanation was lame. The hotel also charges an additonal $150.00 for pet cleaning upon departure.
