"Quick stay place!"
I was in Gilroy for an interview. I just needed a clean-quick stay for a night. This hotel gave me exactly what I was looking for. I did not intend to be in the room for more than a good night's sleep. The continental breakfast is good, not great, but fine. We booked for an quick overnight shopping trip at the outlets. The hotel was easy to find & the staff was very pleasant. As two moms traveling alone with two teenage daughters we felt very safe. The accomodations were satisfactory but we were facing the pool. Although the pool was closed, there was a wedding group making lots of noise so it was had to sleep. For a quick overnight stay, this hotel hit the mark. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room very clean. Only negatives would be the TV channel selection (not very many; no kids channels) & the fact that the AC just couldn't get the room as cool as we wanted. But otherwise a good experience. The hotel was very easy to get to & had many places close-by to eat, shop, get gas, etc. The room itself was clean, but I wouldn't take a white glove to it. The staff was friendly upon check-in/out. This hotel is completely non-smoking which includes the parking lot and grounds. I wish hotels.com would post which hotels had smoking and which ones had no smoking. I am sure both smokers and non-smokers would appreciate that information. Other than that, the location was very close to several restaurants.
