"Very dated but covenient location"
The hotel was pretty dated and was generally understaffed during my visit, and service wasn't the friendliest overall. Neither the flush nor the remote worked in my room, though the hotel was able to send someone right away to fix both problems. In-room wi-fi was free and adequate. We're assuming that the 'dated' comments were based on our public space as our rooms have very recently been fully renovated. Renovations on our public areas are soon to be determined completing our upgrades and renovations of the hotel. "Great for vacationers and decent for business"
Great location for those on vacation. One of the nicer hotels in the area and at a decent price. I was on business and it served my purposes well. The restaurant was nice and served a great breakfast. Only complaint was that the Wifi was slow and had a weak signal. "Loud"
This has to be the loudest hotel i've ever stayed in... Also the internet is very very slow.. Its almost not worth having it at all. Since I use the internet extensively when I travel I had to go out and get mobile internet hotspot because the internet was that slow. Also get here early because parking is in short supply unless you want to park your […] car in the back 40.. The hotel is next to the freeway and I believe there is a police station or fire station close because all night all i heard was sirens. I stayed in California for a football tryout. The Holiday Inn Buena Park was the perfect location. Only about 2 minutes up the street from Knotts Berry Farm, 10 minutes away from my tryout location, and 10 minutes away from Disneyland and California adventure park. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. […] They offer complimentary shuttle service to all the parks, or if you prefer to drive they offer car rental service right in the lobby. There are great places to eat all around the hotel. Please note that though we do have double-paned windows, if you ever have any noise concern, please request a room in the facing the back of the hotel or towards the pool area. Our goal is 100% guest satisfaction and we apologize that we did not meet your expectations.
I have stayed at this hotel several times, and had several experiences. I must say this was the least pleasant. Though we booked a room with 2 queen beds, at check-in, we were given 1 king sized bed instead, and had to go back and insist on what we had booked. The complementary toiletries has been used, and new ones were never brought to the room. The […] sink was clogged, and though reported, never fixed, so we had to use the bath faucets to brush our teeth and wash our faces instead. The second day of our stay, the towels were changed, but we didn't get wash cloths. We called housekeeping and they said they'd be right up with our washclothes, but never did. The waitress at the restaurant was not attentive. We had to remind her, several times, to fill our water glasses, and when she did, she spilled water on the table as well as in our food, giggled and walked away without cleaning it up. "I will never go back there"
