Great for an overnight stay. Close to I-81. Not far from exit. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast in the morning was sufficient, they have the basics, coffee, juice, cereal. toast bagels, eggs, waffles, pastries and other goodies. When we checked in, there was a sign that said no vacancy. Front desk advised there was no water but should it in a few hours. Went to the room which was 47 degrees. We turned the heat on high but by morning it only got to 65 degrees. Front desk called after we went to bed to advise there would be no water even in the morning. "Breathtaking"
I was in town on business for a few days, not knowing anything about the area or anyone for that matter. The staff was friendly, welcoming and assisted me with everything. I had trouble getting into my room but a staff member stopped what he was doing to assist me. This hotel was very clean!!! The breakfast was great (but some didn't care for it). "Not a great hotel"
The room we reserved had not been cleaned since the last occupant, and the only room offered to us was not the type of room we had requested. The climate control had not been maintained, so the room was cold on arrival. Also one of the electrical outlets, and the lamp connected to it, was without power. This place has a great continental breakfast. I'm usually not real big on a budget hotel's continental breakfast, but this place is fantastic. Very pleasant stay. Rome was nice and clean. Front desk was nice. Internet worked. View was excelent. Woke up to lookng at sunrise of the mountains. "Not sure about the location?!"
I was very pleased and comfortable overall with my experience aside from the fact that the cable included had very limited channels and available on a very old television and the location of the hotel itself was very isolated which was unsettling if you are unfamiliar with the area. It was sort of isolated by itself off of the main strip upon a hill. The location played a very important part of my decision as to which hotel that I wanted to stay in. It was very important to me that my daughter and myself stay in a hotel in a very well populated area. We are from the city and are not too comfortable in isolated or wooded areas which we found this hotel to be. The room needed new carpet and additional cleaning around tub. That being said, the front desk person was very nice, it was convenient and inexpensive. I reserved two rooms, one for my sisters and one for my family. My sisters had to change rooms because their shower was in pieces. Our room had a strange smell.
