"Was fine, but could have been better."
The WiFi did not work very well. My husband had to have them reset the router a couple times. The continental breakfast was very disappointing. Our coffee pot did not brew decent coffee. It came out looking like weak tea. One thing I would change, is that they really need to remove that huge desk chair, and replace with something that fits snug under […] the counter. I loved the fellow who worked nights at the desk in the lobby. He's helpful and friendly. The room is clean. The cleaning people and friendly and took good care of the room. "STAINED SHEETS & BEDDING."
I liked the continental breakfast as they gave you a lot of options, rather than a simple danish or cup of coffee. There were 5 or 6 cereals, oatmeal, 3 or 4 types of juices, coffee, tea, milk, fruits, danish, muffins, and beagles. It's right off the freeway which made for easy travel BUT the comforter and sheets were stained. Obviously had been cleaned […] but stained and mattress was considerably lumpy. The alarm clock was the wrong time and didn't go off when I set it. I was also disappointed at the size of the fridge I requested. It was only about 2X2. If I had known I'd have gotten one that was about 4x3 with a microwave at the Days Inn for a fraction of the price, I would have stayed there instead. Overall, the staff was very friendly, but creepy male maid didn't leave a good feeling with me...leaning on the door frame, leaning in if I was sure that I didn't want him to clean my room...Heebie Jeebies if you ask me. Oh, plus the walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbor having a simple conversation on his phone with no problem whatsoever. What I stay here again?...I don't think I would. A good combination of price, location, and amenities. Most of the people staying there were attending the same University of Michigan home football game that I was. The hotel is on the east side of Ann Arbor, which is the shortest drive from the Detroit airport. THE GOOD---Appeared to be a rather new motel. Great area, easy access from highway and onto main city street. Clean room, bed linens were not bad, just a tiny bit scratchy but all in all, comfy. The usual cold breakfast items, nothing special there. THE BAD----DOORS TO ROOMS SLAMMED EVERY SINGLE TIME SOMEONE WENT IN AND OUT. HEARD THIS UP AND DOWN THE […] ENTIRE HALLWAY,,,,ALL NIGHT.
