"Worst hotel experience I've ever had."

"Don't bother, there are better places in Ann Arbor"
The front desk clerk was rude, the spa was out of order and my room was stifling hot, for starters. Also, the TV remote control didn't work and the hotel is a maze. I had to go back and ask for a map because there is such poor directional signage, I couldn't find where my room was. "Unclear Hotel Policy"

Don't not recommend!! Outside of the hotel needs work . When we got to the hotel bunch of men hanging out in front of the hotel drinking alcohol. Our room was on the second floor close to the front entrance , we had to lug our belongings up the stairs to our room cause the only elevator they had was on the opposite end of the hotel. "One night was too much."

"Clarion Hotel- on the Edge"
Visiting our student at the University of Michigan and this hotel is not a family crowd. Very rough looking clientele and several 'ladies' that could pass for women of the night. "Clarion Ann Arbor - terrible condition"
This is the worst hotel in Ann Arbor I have ever stayed in. Many things were broken, the room temperature could not be controlled, the workout equipment mostly broken, the pool water was green, the hall carpets filthy, and on and on. Aside from the rude concierge, we had booked a king room a month in advance and were told they had given all the rooms away. "Oh well", we were told. "They overbooked." "just plain weird...."
The hotel was dark and gloomy , with the pool right behind the lobby. It had been converted from a motel wich explained alot. Spiders ,big webs, bugs that looked like roaches not cool , my fiancee woke up with the bottom of her foot bleeding. "RUN DOWN & NO HEAT"
Checking in was a nightmare with a wait time of approximately an hour, no apologies!!! No heat in first room 11 pm after checking 10 other rooms and still no heat was told they was cutting back but would get a discount if I stayed. I was very tired had drove long drive and worked long hours and just wanted to lay down and sleep. At check out management […] said wasn't aware of what I was speaking about and that didn't take place I must have not known how to work the heaters in the room! I stay in rooms almost 1/2 of the month I've not found the hotel room heaters to be of any difficulty to use. BEWARE of this hotel it's in great need of upgrades not including heaters! "Never return"
Check in personel lied and did not provide the discount he said they would. At check out the same thing happened. contacted management and still no resolution.
