The first day the valet couldn't find my car for about 30 minutes, and the day we checked out they had lost my keys. I enjoy staying at this location, but I did not understand why my $50 deposit, that hit my charge card when it was swiped, did not credit me with the same urgency. "Never Go Agaun"
Didn't get the smoking room i reserved. Didnt try to accommodate me. You have to pay for their "free" wifi. And to use the keyboard for their tv. It rained that night and the tv had no signal. The walls are super thin. The buffet is not worth the price. Golden Corral is cheaper with a better variety of food. The waitress never removed our dirty plates […] and never filled our drinks. My mom and I drove from springfield to harrahs hotel the day before we were scheduled to depart from st louis airport. Springfield is roughly 3 hours from harrahs hotel. We arrived at 330pm and was told our room wasn't ready. We understood bc check in was at 4pm. We checked back with hotel staff frequently and finally were given the keys and in our […] room at 645pm. "Horrible Service"
The parking at this particular hotel was very bad. The check-in individuals were very rude and dis-honest in my opinion, they stated that they informed Expedia about needing to place a $50 deposit on the stay in the room, and, it is possible, that I may have missed that information, but I did look for it. The television service in the rooms did not […] work, you had to pay to view any shows, except just news and commercials. I was also told you must use a credit card for the deposit, and when I checked out, they asked me if I used cash or credit card, because, I would have liked to have cash back, and they can't give cash back with credit card usage, which I could understand. "Nasty hotel"
The hotel is in poor condition. The steakhouse & dessert shop were closed for remodeling, but we only found out when we went downstairs for dinner: not mentioned at check-in or in the room literature. "Disappointed"
Our stay at Harrah's St. Louis was rather disappointing. The clerk at the desk wasn't the friendliest. He asked if we would like a king room or a double room, we said we preferred a king room, then stated that a king room was unavailable (on a Monday night) and he didn't offer an upgrade to a more expensive room either. When we got to our room the disappointment […] continued. The beds were small, even for a double room they seemed small. The sink had a huge crack in it, the bathtub filled up with water as we took our showers, and the pillows had feathers sticking out that poked at us all night long. My husband didn't get to sleep until 3 am due to ambulances coming and going and car alarms going off periodically in the parking garage that was about 20 ft. across from our room. "Unbeliveable charges"
Saved money for 3 months to stay at his hotel. Had no microwave in room for use, you could rent one for an addtional five dollars. Internet services charges applied either by the hour or by the day, no free usage. For the price you paid for these rooms and what you got for that price was totally awful.
