"They asked us to plunge our own toilet. Seriously."
We chose this hotel for the free parking and free breakfast and they delivered on both counts. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean enough that I didn't think I'd get bedbugs, but the hot tub was broken when we were there, the wifi was spotty and when our toilet clogged, they demanded that we plunge it ourselves. what kind of hotel or motel charge for ice. the carpets need to be shampooed. i stepped on it after my shower with the towel and you can see all the build up years of traffic on the bottom of the towel. after i seen that we would not step on the carpet with our bare feet or socks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Second Time was no bueno"
Stayed here a few weeks back......exceeded expectations for the price. I figured I would roll the dice. The room we had last time was huge with 2 large queens. Thought it was a great value. I called ahead and requested the same room. They said no problem. We arrived, they screwed up and gave us the room below our requested room. When we walked up all […] the windows were open...bad sign. The room was as big as last time, but smelled like URINE!!!!! That is why the windows were open. We requested another room. Next room smelled like an ASHTRAY. Moved us again and the room was ok. 2 doubles, not 2 queens. BTW the parking lot is very small and if sold out, will not accomodate all guests. Won't go back. "ELDORADO COAST HOTEL"
The hotel advertised transfers to the cruise ship pier and free parking for 10 days. Extended parking was available at $5 per day. Upon checking in we were told the transfers were only to the pier, not return. We would have to take a txi back to the hotel. The assigned room had a faulty toilet and when we complained to the manager he brought up a plunger […] for us to use. When I asked how you turned on the exhaust fan for the bathroom he said it was automatic. Ours automaticly did not work and the shower was mouldy so we asked for another room. The new room was clean and every thing worked. We though the service was terrible and the hotel is in obviously in need of repair. Had problems with wifi and the tv right away. Maid service didn't occur until the afternoon. The jacuzzi by the pool wasn't working, and the complimentary breakfast was not very good. Wouldn't stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not impressed"
We stayed in room 311 and was pleasantly surprised with the look of the room at first. It is renovated but looks aren't everything. My very first move was to take out my laptop and go online and I was not able to connect. I called the front desk and he told me to turn off my computer and try it again and I did and it still didn't work that was the end […] of that nothing was done about it. We then decided to watch some tv but the reception was terrible. There were some movies on that I didn't care for that had great reception however all the other channels I wanted to watch were staticy; so far two strikes. We read our bibles every evening so we decided to do that and I opened the drawer on the nightstand and there was nothing we opened all the drawers in the place and no bible anywhere; strike three. Since now there was nothing else I can do I decided to just iron our clothes to get an early start for the next day but there was no iron nor was there a dryer so I couldn't wash my hair there was nothing else to do but sleep and the worst part of the stay was the hard uncomfortable bed with big huge fat pillows that hurt my neck. Needless to say I was very displeased I couldn't do anything including sleep which was the last thing I hoped I could atleast conquer here. At least I was able to get a good donut and milk in the morning.
