"avoid this motel"
The hotel did not deliver what was advertized. Said that it had shuttle to cruise center with stay and park. They did shuttle us to the cruise center but said that they could not pick us up. Had to take a cab. The motel it"s self was not well kept and the first room they put us in had a broken toilet. The location and access to the hotel is good but then everything goes downhill. Looks like a rundown place and the look and feel is old. Although the rooms are refurbished but nothing special to write about. The carpet and the sheets looked clean but no toilet supplies provided and the tissue roll was also not stocked. We should have slept in the car at the beach this place was awful. The bedspread had a fishhook imbedded in it, I called the office & he sent up a replacement bedspread filled with cigarette burns. Then my wife turned on the shower and we had no hot water, I tried to call the office again but phone didn't work. "Close to all"
Hotel looked clean but when you walk around in the room your feet where black on the bottom pipes make alot of noise. Rooms need alot of repair. The hotel was actually a motel and was less than what I had expected. The outside window that lead to a balcony made for awkaward moments where other guests looked into my room. Stayed in Room 320. Upon arrival, lobby looked like it was in a middle of some renovation, drywall everywhere, our room smelled like stale cigarettes, there was no remote for the tv, huge wall mirror had graffiti etching, bathroom door lock was busted - it was previously kicked in and the bathroom smelled like urine. Swimming pool was a bit dirty. We […] bought candles and clorox wipes to do a thorough cleaning. We were in town for a family reunion and was so tired from our drive in and was out of the room most of the time anyway, so we didn't even bother to complain... Don't even bother booking.... We deeply apologize and regret that you had an unpleasant experience with us. It is an unfortunate aspect of our business that sometimes our rooms are mistreated, and we implore you to lodge a complaint in the future. Please. Our guest’s comfort is our number one priority, and if a guest is unhappy with a room, we will provide a new room key with no hassle. If you had made a complaint, I think you would have found that most of our rooms are very nice. We cannot fix problems we are unaware of, however. It should be mentioned that the lobby is still being refurnished but very soon we will be covering the mentioned section of drywall with dark wood paneling, and refurbishing our desk area with marble counter-tops. Again, we apologize for this.

BEWARE! This is not a place for decent people and people with families. We stayed for 1 1/2 nights and left, (me in tears). Prostitutes come at all hours of the night and get rooms here. We take care to ensure the comfort of our guests, and if a room is unacceptable, we will go out of our way to fix the problem. Lomita is a fairly quiet and safe city, and we maintain that atmosphere as best we can. Whatever circumstances may have arisen to have adversely affected your stay with us, we apologize for.
