Lamp Liter Inn

We only stayed for a night in our way from Sequoia park to Yosemite park. It was a nice hotel. I loved the garden! It looked more like "at home" than a hotel. There is a lage swimming pool, not like most hotels that say they have a swimming pool when it is barely larger than a jaccuzi. We stay here when visiting family. The facility is always clean and quiet. There is a nice trail on the back of the property that is nice for walking the dogs.

We enjoyed staying at this delightful hotel. It was easy to find and we loved having the car right outside the door. The grounds are very well kept. It was a bit rainy when we were there, but did not take away from our stay. We plan to stay there again next time we go to Visalia, CA.

Very nice place to stay. The room was clean and well kept. Room size is the same as you would find in similar lodging. The bathroom was also clean. It's an old Inn, but is very well maintained. The Lamp Liter Inn- lobby looked like the Brady Bunch House. ADORABLE. The hotel room was perfect, clean, easy access parking right in front of our room. LOVED IT. The grounds are perfect. It does not even look like a hotel. It looks like a nice apartment complex. Felt very safe!

Pleasantly surprised by recent stay at the Lamp Liter in Visalia. Usually stay at one of the "chain" hotels when in town but have a newly adopted rescue dog. This hotel is convenient for Sequoia National Park. The grounds are kept up very well and it is quiet. The room was clean and available for early check-in. Staff was friendly and restaurant next door opened early and served till 9 P.M. I would stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. Surrounding area could have been better, but we did not feel uncomfortable being in the area. The swimming pool was very large and was great fun for the kids. No breakfast included at this hotel, however. There was a great diner on the premises and had the best vegitable soup I have ever tasted.

This was a very quaint litlle Inn with lots of charm. The staff was nice during check in and check out. The rooms were clean and the area was quiet. There is wifi in the room and throughout the grounds. The fact that there is a restaurant/diner adjacent to the Inn was a plus. My family and I were pleasantly surprised.

The rate for our room was reasonable and the room was very nice. We enjoyed the garden area, the pool and the facilities in general. When we arrived, on motorcycles, the men at the front desk were very helpful. They changed our rooms to rooms where we would have a view through the window of the bikes rather than to have the bikes parked where we would […] not be able to keep an eye on them. There is a nice restaurant on-site with reasonable prices and friendly servers. The only complaint I have, and it's a very small one, is that the front lobby area was out of regular sugar for the coffee service. My Mom and I stayed there for 2 nights. Beds where comfortable and bedding clean and newer. The pool is huge with plenty of chaise's and unmbrellas. If you enjoy friendly service in a beautiful setting at a great price, this is the hotel for you! There is a large heated pool and the grounds are full of flowers and tables to sit and relax. If you want easy access to your car for unloading request a downstairs room with a backdoor to the parking.
