"Suite concept...poor execution"
The suite concepts are wonderful for larger families (like mine). However, the upkeep of the room we had left much to be desired. We had 3 TVs, with only one of them having a working remote. Was going to dallas 3:15 game and wanted early check in (1:00). They charge $30.00 for early check-ins. "Don't do it unless absolutely necessary"
We survived, but for over a hundred bucks, I would ABSOLUTELY expect that our room would at least have a shower with HOT WATER. I am not joking, I am used to taking lukewarm showers, but all 5 of us were on the verge of shivering. We took showers at various times of the day, but it didn't make a temperature difference. Also, both the beds and the fold […] out "couch" had ripped or stained sheets. The bathtub surround wasn't attached to the wall or floor, so it rocked and squeaked everyone awake. Not nice. The fold out "couch" was torn in two spots and was more the size of a chair. It unfolded into a twin size bed that was more bars and springs than mattress or cushion. I had to bribe my son into sleeping on it. Incidentally, the front desk had no blankets available, so 3 ripped sheets was all he had for covers. If you don't mind a really loud A/C unit next to the bed, the air worked well and actually lulled me to sleep. Overall, this was a real bummer that I spent over a hundred bucks on this room for one night, but at least we didn't sleep in the car. The room wasn't clean; old food from previous visitor still in room refrigerator. In addition the hair dryer quit working, bed ruffle tore and not on bed properly and the curtains were tore so they wouldn't completely close. None of the ice machines were in working order.
