I was pretty pleased with our stay at the hotel. Me and my wife stayed in a smoking room since we are both smokers. Yea it had a pretty heavy smoke smell but we knew that going into it so we brought our own room spray. It is an older hotel. When we checked in, the front desk clerk advised us that we needed to park by front door because they have a long history of criminal activity. Front desk and breakfast area were nice. Hallways to rooms were old and disgusting. When we returned to hotel at around 10:00 pm, the second floor hallway smelled of weed, not just a little, […] enough for everyone to get high. For this being a "top of the line" hotel it sure wasn't kept up properly and what I mean by that is that the curling above the bathtub looked like it had a leak in it and that's probably from the bathtub above us and the tape from the joints on the wall was peeling off too. the pictures were great however condition of hotel was a bit decieving rooms were small but updated mostly, NO fridge or microwave in rooms and Did Not revieve a smoking room as reserved. Area around hotel was pretty much abandoned but not the Hotels fault. After they 1st night of loud people the rest of our stay was Really quiet and peaceful, Hotel […] staff was VERY friendly and happy to help, however there cleaning staff was not and miss a lot of cleaning in the rooms, We did forget to grab a plaque when leaving and came back within 10 minutes and front desk assisted with an new key but maids had taken it an told my husband front desk had it but they DID NOT after another 10 minutes the maid brought it to the front desk, QUICK TO GRAB LEFT BELONGINGS the maids are Upon unpacking our things we also left a small magic bullet ipod speaker by the TV but was never given to front desk either.
