Super 8 Newburgh - West Point, Stewart International Airport

Its a decent hotel at a good price. A lot of terrific restaurants around along with a Walmart in walking distance. So if you're looking for a hotel than this is one I'd recommend.

The accommodations were great. Microwave, refrigerator, both new. Breakfast station awesome, waffles, cereal, coffee, attendants was there replenishing coffee, etc. Great stay, from NJ. Got a great night rest and tv, not flat screen, but big. Definitely recommend. Love Super8's.

We spent two nights in Newburgh and were pleased with our stay at Super 8. We just needed a place to sleep and it was relatively quiet throughout the night. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The heat worked well in our room despite being a little loud. We didn't eat breakfast there so I can't comment on that. I stayed at the Super 8 Newburgh for five nights when I first got to my new job location in the Hudson Valley. Because I was actually moving to the area, my car was loaded with personal items. I encountered three desk clerks during my stay. The first, at check-in, left me waiting at the counter for several minutes and couldn't have cared less about […] if I even knew where my room was. Somehow she cared even less about the fact that my room was as inconvenient to the parking lot as it could have been. So I carried all my stuff up the stairs, down a long hall and into my room. Of course, I had to retrace my steps at the end of the week when my stay at the hotel was complete. Another desk clerk looked at me one evening and said bluntly "What do you need?" Not "Sir, may I help you find something?" or "Can I be of some help?" My crime was that I needed a plastic fork and knife. But I must say that the young man who checked me out on my final morning couldn't have been nicer. So don't expect much and I guess you'll get what you expect. The breakfast was OK as there was a pretty good selection each morning. A refrigerator and microwave in the room really helped too. The room was quiet and clean. I wouldn't tell someone not to go there, but I wouldn't recommend it either. Read more

I always stay at the Super 8 in Newburgh at least 4 to 5 times a year and prefer to the Ramada Inn when I arrive the personnel even remembers me especially when I arrive late at night! Perfect location for shoppin in Woodbury and close to the train station, I love the place and always return there!!!

Needed a place to stay overnight, and it completely fit the bill. Just the basics, but that's all I needed. Comfortable, clean room and the included breakfast was more than adequate. Stayed here for just one night on my way to Lake George. Conveniently located right off I-87, but there was really nothing around the motel other than Denny's right next to its parking lot (according to the staff there's a big outlet mall nearby, maybe a few miles away?). Overall it was more than enough: nice, clean, & comfortable.

We were in the room very little only to sleep/ This is the 17th year of staying here. We come up for the West Point band Reunion and to go into NY city. Also, very convient to Stewart Airport. Much easier to get in and out of compared to JFK, Newirk, and Laguardia.

its not the newest hotel but it was clean quiet, and its located less than a mile from Orange county choppers. there is a Bar next door that has a live band on weekends... overall I enjoyed my stay for a week.

One thing I have always liked about Super 8 was being able to have a cup of hot coffee in my room first thing to wake me up. On this stay, there was only decaf in the room. This motel is a nice place, especially if you are not planning on a long stay, and it is a stopover. The non-smoking section does have some residual scent of tobacco, and the lighting in the room is not satisfactory, but overall, it is a good place, clean and very easy to reach from the intersection of I-87 and I-84.

The Super 8 is a nice hotel to stay when i visit Newburgh N.Y. I will be going back when i visit again. Its a nice hotel. I went there for my honeymoon and it was great. I do think that this hotel needs to just put out air fresheners, this way the room smell nice instead of stale. Other than that it was a great stay at the Super 8 in Newburgh N.Y.
