Hampton Inn & Suites Aberdeen

The room was nice and very clean. The closet behind the mirror was clever. I loved the bathroom. It was spacious, clean and very modern. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the lobby too. The only problem we had with the room was the bed- the mattress was too hard.

The only complaint I have is that the indoor pool is not heated warm enough for small kids to enjoy. If they could somehow use climate control to heat it more when it is freezing cold outside. Nice Hotel. The roll out bed in the couch was not very comfortable for our daughter. Mattress very thin and could feel all the springs. While the hotel itself is very nice and new, our room was a disaster! The bathroom was not clean (dirty toilet, bathtub, and sink) and the sheets on the bed had not been changed. It was like someone had previously stayed in the room and housekeeping forgot to clean it. The pillowcases were not only dirty (with snot), but there were hairs everywhere […] on the main bed sheets. We called to get new sheets and they were brought up to us without even an apology. Then, a hotel worker came back to retrieve the dirty sheets and said our bill would be adjusted for our "discomfort". When we checked out, the front desk worker said that "they did not do that." This is a newer Hampton Inn so pleasantly surprised!! The duvet covers, bed linens and fluffy pillows were especially nice. Breakfast had both hot and cold items and a lot of variety to choose from. My wife and I visited Aberdeen to attend a wedding. We decided to stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites because it has the highest rating of all the other hotels in the city. We stayed in the King Studio Suite. The hotel and room itself was clean and looked pretty new. The service was excellent and breakfast was better than anticipated. Everything seemed […] perfect except when it was time to sleep we noticed that the walls are paper thin. We could hear even casual conversation in the neighboring rooms, the hallway, and even outside with the windows closed. Aberdeen itself has NOTHING to do and no good restaurants, especially if you're coming from a larger city. If you're a farmer or someone used to living in small towns then it's fine, otherwise it was probably the most boring place I've ever been. If you're going to be in Aberdeen though, this is the ONLY hotel (maybe the attached Holiday Inn as well) I'd recommend. We drove by the others in town and they all look run down. Read more

Our four rooms were very nice and clean. The continental breakfast was very good. Dinner at Mavericks was fabulous and our server Dina was very nice. Our family was in town to enjoy Storybook Land and the Aberdeen Aquatic Center and they were both a lot of fun for kids and adults.

We only stayed one night of our original three booked nights because of a blizzard over New Years. The manager kindly refunded our prepaid two nights that we didn't stay to our credit card. The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming, exceptionally clean.
