Quality Inn Shelburne

My wife thought the first room we took had a musty smell. I called the front desk and they immediately gave us a better unit that was well ventilated. Very comfortable beds. We were running late on check out and they were very accomodating as well.

They room was clean but small. They made a good attempt to modernize but the bathroom was way to small. Staff were very nice. This place is fine but would rather stay at a newer facility.

Good location, reasonable rate for the area. Balcony carpet was torn up and wet, though. We were given a large suite (kitchenette), which was nice. Bathrrom was clean. Washer/dryer in complex - not noted in description. Good breakfast.

Room was clean and spacious. Entrance to our room and hallway were run down. Soundproofing in our room was non existant. Guests in the room above us were up at 5:00 in the morning, stomping all over the place. Noises could be heard so loud in our room that we couldn't sleep. Definitely would not stay here again.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of this hotel including new carpet and bedding. They also have an amazing gym with machines and free weights - and a Dry Sauna. The pool and the hot tub are wonderful. Lots of nice natural light pours in and there are towels available too. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the staff is very freindly. There is room for improvement with the breakfast. The room is too small when the hotel has lots of guests. The food itself was not that appetizing and the plates, cups […] etc. styrofoam, which is not environmentally friendly and definitely not in keeping with the "green" mountain state. The pool's liner was way too big causing many bubbles, ridges, etc. This should be replaced. The breakfast was really nice and offered many choices. Cookies are always a treat and available all day at the front desk. All in all a comfortable and roomy place to stay for the price.

Seems like QI corporate bought a late 40's early 50's motel, threw some granite at the bathroom and considered it upgraded...not! Access to rooms from an EXTERIOR corridor (remember those?) and the stairs creaked as you ascended and descended. The location near the Shelburne Museum and Burlington was a real plus. The folks behind the registration desk were helpful in directing us to good restaurants and sights we should see while in the area. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Asked for a non smoking room, but still smelled like smoke or very musty. Noise for other rooms. Price was low and I guess that was my first concern. Will go with a different place next time.

The hotel and room were very clean and in good shape. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the breakfast room was too small for the number of guests at the hotel. It was chaotic in there and we ended up just going out to a restaurant for breakfast instead. There had to be 50 people in there with about 8 small tables.

Very hard bed and hard worn towels, but good on wifi, free breakfast, upholstered chair, TV, and shower. No elevator to 2nd floor. Not enough parking to park right outside your room. Door opens to outdoors. Good location for us. Rooms available 6 weeks in advance when all others were sold out (holiday).

Our stay at Quality Inn, Burlington was average at best. We enjoyed the room which was well kept and comfortable. However the desk was empty with a "Back in Five minutes" sign as we checked in. The clerk was efficient but not overly friendly. Breakfast was just average with tasteless bacon and over cooked eggs. Ok. Internet device was spotty in our original room but mgmt allowed us to change rooms. It took several efforts to get door cars that worked but eventually things worked out. Staff was helpful in resolving little issues.

Nice room. Would stay again. AC worked, but not well. Unit was wall mounted with thermostat onboard unit. With drapes and curtains hanging over it, it fooled its self into thinking the room was at target. This left the room uncomfortably too warm even though the thing was turned max cool. Check in was quick. Room was roomy. We also had Frig. , microwave and coffee machine in room. My son loved the flat-screen TV. Iron and board, hair dryer was also a nice. It offers free internet but we only received 2 bars by the window. It kept disconnecting. Breakfast was great.

Hotel is a bit older but well maintained. Has some oddities of navigating from here to there inside the hotel (eg getting from the rear of hotel to main lobby and breakfast, getting ice, getting from your parking spot to your room). Ok, its all navigable but takes some learning. No elevators that I saw...so lug your stuff up to the second floor. Parking […] got full every night...so, you park where you can if you get back after 10 pm...on the grass, in front of the reception area. Exercise area has lots of weight lifting equipment, is a big room, but could be improved greatly. I suggest losing most of the many, many weight stations and using universal equipment and adding exercise bikes and treadmills. They have 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical. On the plus, room was spacious, comfy, and clean. And it seems that every room now has a microwave and small refrigerator. The room had a strange odor. The hotel layout was confusing and the receptionist had trouble giving us clear directions about how to drive or walk to our rooms. The hotel laundry facilities were not working. We used the laundry but the dryer never completed drying our clothes after three cycles.

While driving with my wife and daughter back home from Canada to NJ we spent a night at the 'Quality Inn' in Shelburne. The place is clean, our room was spacious and the staff was welcoming and professional. The only down side is that breakfast is only available till 9am.
