Very good value for the very reasonable (best in town) price. Meager breakfast bar, and crowded, but again, great value for the money. A big plus was the hospitable, helpful night manager. Location, near interstate, not the most picturesque in the world, but then I am a very low maintenance individual...prefer getting a good motel deal and spending […] the money saved on meals and activities. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just off of I-40, lots of local amenitites, and pretty quiet for being so close to main junctures. "Good value, nice staff, does need an update"
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which made the difference for me. The room itself was nice enough and included a very good heater. The bed was clean and comfortable. Plus the location was good, right next to the highway and several restaurants. My only problem with the hotel was the bathroom (which is why I gave it two stars for comfort). […] The bathroom door did not shut all the way (could be a problem if you share the room!), and there was zero circulation, which made the room stifling after a shower.
