I stayed at this hotel for one night while on business in Boca Raton. I arrived at around 10 PM and was able to grab a quick bite in the Bistro, a small bar/restaurant right in the lobby. It was fine but ridiculously overpriced. They do it because they have a captive audience -- there is no inexpensive dining within walking distance. Also beware about […] where you park. When I checked in, the agent asked me where I had parked. When I told her, she said that was part of the restaurant across the street, and that I would have to move my car. "Poor Experience with manager"
The hotel, lobby, room and front line staff are all incredibly friendly. However, my first night, the housekeeping staff did not make up my room. I went down to the front desk and told the manager, and her response was "Oh, they're gone for the day." There was an awkward pause as I waited for her to say something else, but she did not. After about 20 […] seconds, she said "I can give you some more towels". I agreed, grabbed a drink at the bar, went back up to the room and one bath towel was sitting on the counter. They didn't even think about replacing the coffee packs (which was okay because it was horrible coffee anyways) removing the room service trays from the prior night, or anything else a true customer serviced based manager should do.
