"FANTASTIC HOTEL"
WE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL AND BOOKED 2 ROOMS THEY WERE SO NICE THAT WE BOOKED ANOTHER NIGHT. WE HAD FANTASTIC BAY VIEWS WE WATCHED DOLPHINS PLAYING IN THE BAY. THE ROOMS WERE NICE AND CLEAN AND ROOMY. "Waterfront Best Western"
Great hotel stay while visiting family. Had a huge room for the price I paid. Excellent value. The waterfront is a nice view and the grounds are well maintained. Good service when we needed it. Asked for a pack-n-play when I checked in and someone was waiting by our room with it before we even go to the room. The pool was nice. Had great meals at Pinchers […] Crab Shack with good service. A lot of their seafood is local. Prices were a little on the high side but the portions were large. My only complaint was that there was no free breakfast so you have to factor that in. "Schönes Hotel"
Beim Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront handelt es sich um ein schönes Hotel. Der einzige Grund, der für unsere Buchung ausschlagend war, ist die optional buchbare Zimmerkategorie, die einen Meerblick ermöglicht. Vom Balkon aus ergibt sich somit ein wunderschöner Blick auf das Meer, der auch nicht durch das gegenüber liegende Festland gestört wird, […] da dies ca 1 km entfernt ist. Enttäuschend war aber die Servicequalität, weil wir zuerst ein Zimmer ohne Meerblick bekommen haben, obwohl eines mit gebucht war. Nach längerer Diskussion haben wir ein Zimmer erhalten, das der von uns gebuchten Kategorie entsprach. Vom (mehr oder weniger) zum Hotel gehörenden Fisch-Restaurant waren wir auch enttäuscht. Die Filteranlage hat leider nicht den gewünschten Effekt zustande gebracht. Beinahe durchgehend lag ein Fischgeruch in der Luft, der das Entspannen in der Poollandschaft oder auf dem Balkon fast unmöglich gemacht hat. Der schöne Ausblick hat dies aber wegmachen können, wobei noch erwähnenswert ist, dass sowohl der Sonnenaufgang als auch der Sonnenuntergang nicht vom Balkon betrachtet werden kann.
