I was able to get a much better rate online than calling the hotel directly. When I spoke to the reservation person att he hotel in NC and told her I could get a rate online that was $100 less than she quoted she told me I was wrong! Kids had a great time. They loved the Kids Kamp room with the bunk beds. Only negative was the food... Very medicocre but there are a number of restaurants surrounding the hotel.

Wonderful place for a family. Perhaps less so if you are on a budget and have trouble telling your children "no". We "just" enjoyed the water park which was really great, and did not let the kids do the MagiQuest, though they were disappointed by that. Oh, and we had to tell the kids "no" to the arcade as well. We took our own breakfast food and ordered […] dinner from Pizza Hut to avoid paying the high food prices. We had 4 kids and 4 adults and though the kids were free, we didn't want to spend $80 on 4 buffets when we could get pizza for $25. The lifeguards and staff at all the water rides were spot on target, watching the goings-on very carefully. Kids running around doing the MagiQuest didn't bother me, in fact, I enjoyed seeing them so involved in it. Towels and seats were abundant at the water park though my daughter thought it was much more crowded than when they went previously. We had a wait of about 20 minutes for the Howling Tornado and Canyon River ride. The kids would go again anytime and I told them maybe we will relent on the MagiQuest next time. Read more

this was great fun, even for the parents. Great idea with the room key scanned into the wrist band. We didn't have to worry about misplacing keys or even keeping up with personal towels, since they were furnished in the water park also.

Pro's - Nice park, slides were good. Mini Bowling was fun. Service was real good. I reccomend a 1 max 2 day stay. Just not enough entertainment for 3 or more days. But the two your there will be fun. I also REALLY liked the fact you didnt need towels for the water park they are supplied. Familys with kids 12 and under its a perfect weekend getaway. […] Con's - Although they do have a teen area, they really need to look into adding a little more stuff for that age group. its a perfect place for 12 and under families but there is a slight void for teens. I was thinking it would be a perfect if they would consider two things, make a bigger "teen" area maybe a place with music etc..and for teens ONLY. Also make a small place for "adults only" as well, like maybe a small pool, hot tub bar thing. reason being is my kids are teens so you dont have to keep a constant eye on them, so it wouldve been nice to have us a "little getaway". The bathroom was not fully clean when we arrived. There were not enough wash clothes for the number of guest in our room and we had to request additional ones. The televission in the individual room did not work prperly because the volume continue to rise when it was cut down and then it would not change channels.

Everything was great except the food was way over priced for being mediocre. Also, the temp of the indoor waterpark was a bit chilly at times.....it certainly didn't feel 84 degrees as they indicate on their website and through marketing.

We stayed at Great Wolf lodge Jan.26th and had a really good time. There was always something to keep the kids busy.The waterpark is nice they have about 6 different slides,a wave pool,an activity pool and a kiidie pool.At times is was kinda chilly but once you got use to it it was fine.the hotel is really nice and well kept the only complaint I had […] was the beds are very hard. This was our 2nd time to GWL Concord - we have taken our son for his bday the past 2 yrs. I was a little apprehensive of having rooms on the ground level and near the conference center, but it had no effect on our stay, in fact, I think it made it more convenient! We had a wonderful time. Our children haven't stopped talking about all the things that there were to do. The small issue that we had was broken glass on the floor of our room. I stepped on a shard and cut my foot. Housekeeping was sent to vacume our room immediately.

The place is really nice but all in all not worth the money. Breakfast buffet is 12.99 adult and 8.00 kids.There isn't a big variety of waterslides(rides). outside pool only 3 ft. If your going for atmosphere this is a great place, otherwise save the money.

The great wolf lodge is definitely a place you want to go if you have children. It was so much for the children to do and they stayed busy. My kids really enjoyed the interactive game Magic Quest. I plan to take them again.

From the moment we entered the lobby, our experience exceeded our expectations. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the kids were overwhelmed by the decor and excitement of the hotel. The waterpark was first rate and the rooms were well above what I would consider a standard hotel room. We were very excited about our stay. There were really […] only two problems. First, we booked on Labor Day weekend and we expected crowds. On Friday, most of the crowds had not arrived and this made the time there much more enjoyable. By Saturday afternoon it was crowded enough to be a little bit of a distraction. Our biggest complaint though, had to do with the temperature of the water. Only the large "plain swimming pool" was really warm enough for our kids to be comfortable in for long periods of time. The small kiddie pool was cold, the wave pool was positively icy and the outdoor pool was pretty chilly as well. Although it was labor day, we expected the mostly indoor park to have warmer temperatures in the water. Our kids loved the bedtime stories and animated sing-a-long and other activities like the magic show. Overall we'd highly recommend the GWL, but I wish whey would warm up the pools a good bit. The rooms and the Hotel itself is clean and there is always something going on for the kids to do. If I had any complaints it would be that the bathrooms are very small. We have a family of four and the sink is outside the bathroom but the toilet is right beside the tub there is no room to move around .

We had a lot of fun during our stay at Great Wolf. The family enjoyed 2 days of fun at the water park which was more than enough. We we all exhausted at the end of our stay. Courteous and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Wrist bands with computerized chips meant no issues with losing room keys/cards and ease of charging items back to the room.
