The "indoor" pool was actually outdoors in a greenhouse, but it was warm, clean, and inviting. You do get a bit chilly making your way from the greenhouse back to the hotel, though. The hotel is below standard to the price charged. Some of the things we observed are below: The roof was squeaky and it was difficult to sleep at night when someone was moving around above our room. The room was small with no space after bed. The bathroom was tiny and door had no latch They didnot do house keeping for our 2 day stay. When asked they […] said we had do not disturb sign which we had removed while leaving. We even saw that they were cleaning nearby rooms while we left in morning. The wifi was really slow at night time. We used our cell phone signal to check Internet. The breakfast was miserable. Our room smelled so bad we could hardly sleep in it but we were already there and did not want to drive back to Atlanta. It smelled like mold. The office staff was helpful but on their cellphone during our transactions. Harrah's was around 2 miles from the hotel so we got a taxi so we did not have to drive and it cost us (2 people) 30 dollars!!!! Our room was very humid; even cranking the AC down to a lower temperature in hopes of it drying out the air did not work. The towels (an icky cotton/poly blend) felt damp even before we used them. We stayed 2 nights; our room was not serviced during the one full day we were there. The breakfast was typical of these "free breakfast" hotels -- only highly […] processed, high carb options. Room was clean, but mattress pad was "bunched" in middle of bed and bottom sheet was barely covering mattress. Fining the hotel was difficult, as the address couldn't be found on google maps. The first room had a broken air conditioner, but we were moved to another room swiftly. There is no tub, so if you have little ones, they'll have to use the shower. The pool is outside but enclosed, and open until 10 or 11 pm. The breakfast consisted of prepackaged muffins […] and bagels, some slightly warm milk, and day old bread. There was a toaster, and a coffee maker. Extremely basic. only complaint is that we were not able to get a frige put in our room. My husband has insulin and for the two nights that we stayed there I had to keep putting ice in our cooler. Other than this issue it was a pleasant stay.

Did not resupply towels, coffee, or tolientries. Did vacuum room after first night for our second night. Reported this to manager upon check-out. She said she would what could be done. Have heard nothing.

The staff and management don't run a very tight ship. The rooms were fine, but there were a few little customer service things that were pretty sad. We called about 30 minutes before check-in to ask if we could come in early. The hotel was not busy at all and I'm sure that they had plenty of clean rooms as the parking lot was pretty barren, but they […] insisted that we wait and we walked in 3 minutes early the desk clerk actually looked at her watch as if it mattered. Also as I was trying to push the luggage cart through there series of front doors, the housekeeper cleaning the glass on said door not only did not open the door for me, she kept cleaning forcing me to navigate the tight squeeze through a single door all while she stared right at me just kept cleaning. There never anyone at the front desk and even after ringing the bell and hearing that there was someone in the back room, they took several minutes to come out. The cleaning service didn't wipe down bathroom vanity or vacuum while we were out. I also think that the pool is advertised as "indoor" although it is just a covered outdoor pool and the jacuzzi had no visible controls and was luke warm at best. Read more

I can't tell you about the pool, it was closed. The room was nice, it had an older tv and no bathtub, which wasn't ideal with 2 small children. The front desk was a great help to us. We stayed with our 4 year old granddaughter over the Memorial Day holiday. It was just remodeled and the front desk service was excellent. They also have a covered heated pool.

It was beyond bad. The photos and reviews were ok and since it said it just got a remodel we thought we must have found a gem. Not quite. Their GPS address is 00 McLean Store Road which would be helpful for them to advertise but they don't. We got room 101. An insane Body Odor and cigarette smoke smell in the hall. I noticed a huge vomit stain all over […] the box spring and actual frame on the head side by the night stand. My husband and I were disgusted so I went to the front desk to get a different room. (they have a policy of no cancellations) Another man walked in the same time I walked to the deak. The clerk told me to go first. I told him about the vomit and he said that room was marked as cleaned. He then asked the guy what he needes. The guy said he was lost and needed directions to a different hotel. I am not exaggerating when I tell you he spent 15 minutes helping another man find another hotel while I, the paying customer, stood waiting to get my family out of puke room. He finally gave me a new room and a good deal of attitude. The main reason we chose this hotel was because of the photos of the indoor pool and jacuzzi. First, the jacuzzi does not bubble and there is no option of turning it on. It is not hot so basically is a still tub of germs. The pool was filled with garbage and the brekfast was bagels with a side of 100 fruit flies. Pay an extra ten bucks and atay anywhere elae. I believe the good reviewa were from workwrs. Read more

My problem was with Hotels.com having no idea where this hotel was located and wanting to send us 45 minutes out of our way to get to it. Thank God we called information. None of the information they had was correct, including the phone number. We stayed for one evening in Cherokee before heading over to Gatlinburg. The staff were very friendly and […] helpful. The rooms were modest. We only had a shower in our room, but other than that, it was an excellent hotel for the price when compared with the rest in the area. wouldn't recommend this hotel, asked for english breakfast tea bag for breakfast and they only had flavoured tea, we were there for 4 days and breakfasts were very poor quality. Staff not very cooperative.
