"Very close to downtown Napa"
The hotel was adequate for a one-night stay. My husband and I were in Napa for a concert. The hotel is very convenient for taking in a show at the Opera House. Front desk folks were nice and helpful, room was bigger than expected and clean, but it was located on the first floor near the elevator. We heard lots of footsteps overhead and outside our door. "I'd recommend but wish they'd get new bedding"
Everything about Hilton Garden Inns, that we've stayed at is fine - even good, except - the bedding. They seem to skimp on good bedding. The top sheet is thin and seems rather polyester or nylon like. The comforter is definitely nylon and keeps slipping - just not great. Why do they do this? Very clean and new. The rooms were a really good size. They had a good lobby area with a restaurant and two fireplaces. I really liked the board games that they had, you can borrow them and take them to your room to play. "Fantastic hotel, need a car to get around town"
The hotel was great - very clean, comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was good. The only downside is that there isn't much to do in the immediate surrounding neighborhood. You'll probably need a car to get around town, but parking at the hotel is free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Napa Hilton Garden Inn is close to everything"
My friends and I travel someplace different each year. This year we decided to do wine country. We chose the Hilton because it is close to the highway and many wonderful restaurants. "Hilton Garden Inn - Napa - good wine country base"
This hotel is a really great base for visiting wine country. I stayed here with three friends and we really appreciated the service, convenience, and comfort of this hotel. The staff was very helpful, taking group photos for us (in the lobby), referring us to restaurants, and just being generally helpful. We enjoyed the "Summer Special" that included […] breakfast, and what a deal it was! The American Grill provided a nice cooked breakfast each day. The options provided were welcome and the staff was friendly and helpful. After being used to instant and manufactured breakfasts in hotels, this was a very nice improvement! The hotel is ideally located for day trips to the Napa Valley and the Sonoma Valley. If your goal is to see only the Napa Valley, this is not the most central place to stay. It is a 10 to 20 minute drive to reach the heart of the Napa Valley. But most places are not too far away and this Hotel works for seeing them without too much driving.
