"Good value, but needs some upkeep"

"Any shopping needs are 3 mins away or closer"
The room was very clean. Both elevators working now. Located 3 minutes or less from shopping centers. Being on the 495/95 I thought it would be noisy but it was very quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful. Will more than likely be staying again very soon. Only issue I had was on the next to last day the cable was out and everyone except the 6th floor […] had it back in just a few hours. Other than that there were not any other problems. "Convenience"
The hotel is clean and the service very friendly for the 5 nights we were there. The shuttle to the Metro was always available in a timely manner and the convenience of getting to the sights was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wednesday thru Sunday"
The hotel was ok for the price. The service was great. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location not so good but they run a free shutle service to the Metro until 9:45pm. If you comeback after that time there are always taxis to take you to the hotel for about $7. On several nights I came back on the last train and there were always taxis […] for anybody who needed them. The nearby Springfield Mall is more than half empty (stores) and a staff member told me it would probably close. I would prefer staying closer to Washington next time but if on a budget, wouldn't mind staying at the Best Western again. "Best Western in Springfield, VA--Very Nice"
Clean rooms, very adequate space, and courteous staff. They actually have a life guard at the pool...I've never seen that at a hotel. Close to metro station which is very important in the Wash DC area. They will shuttle you there, too. This hotel is very much worth your while. P.S. "For the price -very nice."
Our room was quiet, and well maintained. Wireless internet was slow at times but it was free. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, probably the best I've had in my limited experience. It's within walking distance of a DC metro station ( a little more than a mile). We didn't use it be in retrospect to go to downtown DC that is the way to go. (rent […] some bicycles or take advantage of the bike share program they have when you get there too). We spent two nights there in late June. The weather was getting hot and humid (low 90's). Humidity in our room was pretty high initially because of recent carpet cleaning. We had to turn down the AC lower than we would have liked to get the humidity out of the air. "Great stay"
This hotel was both very close to the interstate and very close to the metro station. The complimentary shuttle was also very convenient. The room itself was clean and quite comfortable. The staff was nice, and in the morning, the breakfast spread was pretty impressive compared to most hotels! Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
