Baymont Inn And Suites Macon/ Riverside Drive

Passing through with our 3 kids. My husband said it was fine. If you need a cheap place to sleep close to food and interstate ... its suits those needs. But it older outdated and I wouldn't stay there without my husband. Breakfast was just ok too. Juice and coffee were watered down. Still went out and bought coffee.

The room was clean, convenient to fast food and close to restaurants. Friendly front desk staff and daily cleaning service was fine. We were there to attend a funeral in Macon. Our stay was for five nights. The manager graciously offered a bereavement rate. Not the Four Seasons but a great interstate hotel.

On our second night I found and killed multiple roaches near the sink. I can only imagine how many I wasn't able to see. Would not stay here again. The location wad great though.

We had no heat in the room and we had no shower. The manager brought a space heater to use, but not very warm. We had to move the next morning to another room to take a shower after the room was vacated. Also we paid for a kingsize bed and received a single bed. Very disappointed in service.

When we went for the complimentary breakfast at 5:30 am, desk clerk sitting with his chin in his hand and staring at the computer. There were 2 people having breakfast. Meanwhile the sausage and eggs were empty. Finally left after 20 mins and still no eggs and fresh saussge was cold. Had to put together coffee carafe myself to have coffee. Stayed here as there was limited room at my family's residence in Macon. Room was as described, except heavy smell of smoke in room even though it was a 'non-smoking' room. Staff was very friendly. Only stayed one night, and it was fine. Room was clean and air conditioner worked fine. Other than the cigarette smell, it was a straight 4.0 stay.

We stayed here for a wedding close to this hotel. We had many people staying at this hotel so we asked to be put close together. They were unable to do this due to housekeeping issues. They gave us a room and key and when we entered, it had beer cans and unmade bed and trash all in it. We had to go back and tell them this to get another room. Not a […] great first impression. For an overnight stay, the motel was decent. We had several rooms since we were part of a group. When we went to our rooms, two rooms assigned belonged to someone else. cigarette holes in blankets, sheets looked dirty so i got new ones and changed myself. carpet dirty, bathroom was falling apart. screws were literally hanging out the wall holding a/c vents. was a joke and felt very gross. can't believe it was recommended to us.

Hotel is in great location right off the interstate. It's close to a few fast food restaurants too if that's your thing. There really isn't a breakfast, just awful coffee and individually wrapped pastries, we went around the corner to IHOP. The pool was green and ice cold. I think there should be a set water temp. prior to stating the hotel has a pool. The room was nice, not enough towels but clean.

This was an older, run down, Baymont. The fact that it had outdoor entries to the rooms should have tipped me off. I usually don't go with outdoor entry hotels. The biggest problem was the heat did not work very well. It was near a record cold night and the window unit put out air only slightly warmer than the room air. With the unti turned up to max, […] it never warmed the room. The next morning, after one shower, the celing of the bathroom was leaking...RIGHT OVER THE TOILET. To use the toilet, you had to lean at an angle to avoid being dripped on. I realize I got a bargain rate for this hotel, and I don't expect a palace at a bargain rate. I've stayed at Baymont Inns before and they were better than average. Thus, I wasn't prepared for this older, run-down property that was almost devoid of guests when we arrived and felt like a ghost-town hotel in a western movie. The room was quite small, we couldn't find an electrical socket anywhere, and about the only good thing was a plasma TV. […] The outside door was quite separated from its frame, which made it feel insecure. It was great; customer service was better than expected, room was large and elegant, w/ fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and wi-fi. Continental breakfast was to die for (just like eating at a nice breakfast buffet restaurant). They even had a complimentary computer available w/ internet and printer for guests! Highly recommend it! :)

I have to say this is a pretty nice motel for the price. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a short stay. I stayed in a Queen Room and it was pretty nice. Its not fancy but has hot water, nice shower and coffee maker as well as hair dryer plus a refigerator and microwave. The parking is easy to your room and has a pretty nice breakfast […] bar and area. The front desk staff is very friendly and actually will ask you how your stay was and at the end I told them wonderful for the price. There are many restaurants almost within walking distance and has easy access to and from I-75. The pool is wonderful too. If you want a great place to eat for a great price, down the street is a wonderful cafeteria with reasonable prices known as S & S. Its owned and based out of Macon. I will be choosing this property for now on when I make my trip to and from around Atlanta. Great Place for the Price. Read more

A real no frills place. It is located pretty conveniently next to the interstate, which is nice. Everything about it is good enough for a one night stay. It does not have a lot of amenities, and is a very plain place to stay. Rooms are comfortable enough, though. I would recommend for a one-night stay.
