"LIARS at the front desk."
LIARS at the front desk. LIARS LIARS LIARS Called about my room and asked to have 2 beds, as I was traveling with my friends and were sharing a room. Was assured that I was GUARANTEED to have a room with two beds when we arrive. When we came, I was met with a glass stare of front desk reception, saying that we have a room with ONE bed. Told them that […] I called earlier and was assured I would get a room with two beds as I had people with me to share the room. They proceeded to explain that 2 beds is only a "request" and not a guaranteed. After telling them I called their front desk just a few hours earlier and was told that were indeed GUARANTEED a room with two beds, they said that nobody at their front desk could have said that. They offered a "roll-away" as an option to accommodate additional people in our room. After more frustration at my request to actually see the roll-away (which they called a double bed), I finally got a chance to see it. A medieval contraption of torture, that you can barely fit a dog on, much less two adults. I'm not even talking about comfort here. After refusing their roll-away, I was confronted with more glass stares and refusal to do ANYTHING for me. After more frustration and yelling, they finally agreed to book my friends in the second room at reduced rate. EXTREMELY frustrating to deal with their staff if they screwed something up. "Had trouble"
