"Worth the money"

If your room is on the south side the air conditioner from the restrauant next door is very noisey if you want the door open or the window, Could not hear if door and window was shut. The door in room 117 needs weather stripping as there is a gap of a quarter inch or better arround the door and the light shown in the room and […] the door threshwhole needs repairing. The room was fine for the price, however they offer a pretty bad tasting coffee. The pillows on the beds were fluffy and very comfortable. "Clean Room but Funky Odor"
Great stay for the price. The staff were very friendly and the rooms seem recently updated. Our room had a funky musty odor to it that we couldn't get rid of. There were no air conditioning/fan units, so in order to get any air, the window or door had to be wide open...got pretty stuffy at night. Not sure if any other rooms have a tub or not, but ours […] had a stand-up shower...so be sure to ask if you want to soak at all. "perfect location for newport"
The hotel was fairly decent, rooms are quite small but the bathroom was kinda big, shower only but okay by me cause I don't think I would ever trust a hotel bathtub, the bed scares me enough lol...No air conditioning though which was kind of a drag in the middle of the afternoon. the hotel room itself looked like they just kinda threw the funiture back […] in real fast after remodeling it and the remodelers didnt do too great of a job, left some gaps in the door and trim hanging off the wall. The location though was fantasitc, it was located right off the hwy and not quite on the beach but only about a block and a half walk to the beach. Right next door was a fantastic little '50's style diner called 'flashbacks' had an excellent malt shake there. This hotel is very clean! The rooms are recently remodeled and kept very clean. Bathroom is updated, however shower is very small. Basic amenities in room including small flat screen tv, coffee maker, mini-fridge. There were people smoking outside their room late at night and we were able to smell the smoke. Otherwise, it was typically very quiet. The […] free continental breakfast was poor quality and pretty much what they put out in the beginning of the morning was all there was for that day, no restocking. The outside of the Travelodge is plain, but we were pleasantly surprised with the nice job they've done on the remodeling.
