"Clean and cozy"

Thought their first floor was undergoing a renovation, that didn't detract from the state of our room on the second floor, which was nice, clean and comfortable. It was easy to access off the highway, very close to New Bedford, where we were running a half marathon. "Not-so-good front desk service"
Hotel was great, minus the front desk. I went to the front desk on three separate occasions. One time, there was only one person at the front desk (around 4pm), there was a line of people, and she continued to answer phone calls while checking people in, asking people to hold for a moment at the front desk multiple times. Second time was fine, I just […] needed a card to my room to be activated because it didn’t work. The third time, there were two people at the front desk and the same situation happened, one person doing all of the work (including answering phone calls) and the other (not sure what she was doing, but she looked up, saw a line of people, and continued doing her work on the computer). I’m not attacking the people per se, I’m just saying, maybe people in front of you (especially when there’s a line) should be helped first and maybe the hotel should be better staffed. Located somewhat off the beaten path, it was a clean hotel and the front desk manager (Karee) was very pleasant and friendly. We have stayed at this hotel several times. Things have been generally satisfactory. This time however I must comment on the exteremely good work of the housekeeping staff. Die Sauberkeit ist gut, sowohl auf den Zimmern wie auch in öffentlich zugänglichen Bereichen (Fitnessraum, Frühstücksbereich, Lobby). Wenn Lieferungen kommen (war einmal nicht der Fall), ist das Frühstück für amerikanische […] Verhältnisse sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr freundlich, auch an dem Tag, an dem das Frühstück ausfiel und einige Gäste recht genervt reagierten. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist nicht so toll, wir haben aber dieses Hotel bewußt wegen der guten Verkehrsanbindung gewählt. Wo viele Straßen sind, ist halt weniger Platz für Natur. Einziger wirklicher Kritikpunkt war für uns der Check Out. Da wir über Expedia.de gebucht hatten, war es für uns normal, keine Rechnung zu erhalten, dennoch hat das Hotel die Übernachtungen nochmals von der Kreditkarte abgebucht.
