The Hotel was comfortable other than the bed, It was way too hard. The suite itself was very comfortable and spacious. The cleanliness of the room itself would have gotten a better rating if were not for the womens underware found in one of the drawers. The service was so-so. The day worker Sandy was awesome and very helpful, cant say the same for the […] night worker Lane. He was a bit rude and wanted to charge me $5.00 more per night. In spite of the fact that I made the reservation 6 weeks in advance, my request for a room with two beds was not honored, and the desk clerk on check-in made it clear that the reason was that I'd used Expedia, rather than booking directly. I asked about this later that evening when another clerk was on duty and was told that "technically, your room […] does have two beds" because it had a sleeper sofa. In addition, the heat wasn't working properly, but this was corrected next morning my a very pleasant maintenance person. What Expedia describes as a "standard suite" at this hotel is what the hotel itself calls a "studio suite" and has no separation between the sleeping area and the sitting area and bath. even thoughm my room was supposed to be non-smoking, smoke smell permeated the room. Maintenance issues were common - TV remote did not work, light bulbs were burnt out, the TV in the Exercise room did not work.
