We arrived one day early and called to add a room to our stay. The gentleman that helped me as we were traveling in the middle of the night was extremely helpful and professional. Apparently this Hotel was under a different name not too long ago. It is an old building. The carpet in the room had no padding, was in very poor condition (burn holes or black stains throughout), The chairs and couch had stains of various type (like lip stick). When we arrrived the young woman at the desk was overwhelmed. She was alone on duty and there were four guests waiting to sign in and hotel guests stopping to ask questions along with the phone constantly ringing.When we were taken care of she was very polite and accommodating. "worst 3 star airport hotel"
This is the worst 3 star airport hotel I ever stayed. We landed Denver around 6:15pm, took about 20min got off plane, this hotel name no where to be found on either West or East side of hotel directory list, then we started using cell to call hotel, reaches no live person, answer machine just tell you, press 1 for reservation, press 3 for customer care, […] if u press 3, get back from Welcome message again, again, again, final we press 1, then after a very very long waiting, finally talked to front desk. We got to hotel around 8:10pm. Driver is friendly. There's some phone system issue going on according to driver . Front desk lady felt very sorry for us. and issued us complimentary breakfast . The shuttle took about an hour to pick us up from the airport, even though it's only 15 minutes away. I had to call 3 times and each time was told that the driver would be there in a few minutes. When I got to the hotel, and was asking about a shuttle back to the airport the following day, they scheduled me on a shuttle at 4:25 a.m. because the time […] I needed to go (5:30 a.m.) was "already full" even though when making the reservation for the hotel, I had specifically asked about this. We were surprised that it was rated 3 stars. We expect more from a three star hotel. Some of the wallpaper was torn and paint chipped. I stayed last night for an overnight business trip to Denver. I will admit that I did not read the reviews. I booked b/c it was the right price and it was in and out. "Tired, dirty hotel well past its prime."
The hotel was located behind a truck stop in a mixed commercial area. I arrived after dark and was very disappointed to see a poorly lit parking lot and entrance. The interior of the hotel was extremely dark, dated and dirty looking and smelled of stale smoke. The reception staff were friendly, the only positive experience. We were extremely disappointed due to the fact this hotel had high ratings when we booked it. It was clean but regular maintenance thurout was poor at best. Upon arrival during 100 plus degree heat, I discovered there were no ice machines in the building much to my surprise. I called the front desk to inquire about this and no one ever answered my calls. Discovered I had to get ice at the front desk which was not at all convenient. "Close enough to air-port for the right price"
The room was clean, but I had to call three times regarding being picked up by the shuttle. First time I was told it woudl be there in fifteen minutes. In fifteen minutes, no shuttle.
