Personable Staff, A nice change from the "Big Box" locations. The town of Hull was just far enough away from it all to relax, and close enough to still be convenient. "Exceptional value"
The value of the place is exceptional even for off season. It was large enough for a couple with a lot of amenities and great location. There wasn't great quality in the workmanship or upkeep. Some brown (maybe old water stains), the toilet paper holder was hanging on by a thread and the shower curtain rod was rusty. There were not enough blankets or […] towels in the place especially for winter but the gas fireplace worked great and heated well. "Very different place to stay, fun."
It was a studio room in a house, about 2 blocks from the beach. Could sit on the couch and watch the light from a lighthouse. In the summer it would be ultra awesome, in the winter it made for a memorable place to stay (I travel all the time) and I enjoyed it. It is like having a room in someone's house, by the beach. Came for a wedding in Cohasett, 10+ minute drive to the condo. Check in Time was 4:00 but the owner allowed us to check in a little earlier to drop off our bags. Parking is very limited and the town of Hull, MA doesn't allow you to park on the street without a pass. "Lovely stay; noisy neighbors"
Our "efficiency" was bigger than many hotel rooms I've stayed in, plus it had a fridge, w/d, d/w and jacuzzi! And the rate was super reasonable. The one drawback was the insulation .... not sure whether it was that or the very noisy neighbors, but was treated to screaming kids, noisy tvs, and drunken conversation. Maybe that's par for the course on […] a holiday weekend. There's a do's and don'ts list in the room. Perhaps quiet hours should be introduced. "Perfect little getaway, by the beach."
Just want to write a quick review to say this is a perfect little getaway if you are in the Boston area, less than an hours drive from the airport and downtown areas. Its in a small town on the beach and has beautifull ocean views. I was met by Pete who quickly showed me the apartment and left me to my own devices, he checked in on me now and again, […] which was fine. You have your own front door and ocean view balcony, which is great for privacy, the apartment boasts most conveniences. This was a condo, not really a hotel. We had the owner's cell number and he met us upon arrival. He was helpful and friendly. The condo is on a very steep hill with limited parking, but since it is towards the top of the hotel we could see the ocean from our room.
