A little awkward to get to given it's location however once there we were very happy with out choice. Nice area, service was excellent at the desk as well as restaurant (Paragon Grill) where the food was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is becoming run down and the rooms need a steam clean and paint. The front desk staff is "hit or miss". Unfortunately I got the "miss" first. When I had to go back to have my room changed because my room lock wouldn't lock I had a pleasant, helpful clerk. I strongly advise refusing a room in the "South Building". We almost did not choose to stay at Nantasket Beach Resort because it seemed further away from Boston than I wanted, but if the ferry schedule coordinates with your plans in Boston, then it is well worth the stay. The resort was beautiful. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable. The dining was economical, and the ocean was less than 50 feet away. […] The only thing you might think about when selecting this location is that you need to catch the ferry to go to the resort, but the resort has a shuttle so you schedule them for pickup at the ferry station. Hotel is in a beautiful location. It is a great value if you stay in the off season. The resturant in the hotel serves a great dinner as well as a very good breakfast. My only complaints are that parking is very confusing and inconvenient and the gym is currently closed. I was told by the staff it had closed before Christmas (I stayed in mid January). This hotel was GREAT - minus the parking situation. I was told to park behind one of the buildings which shared a lot with a restaurant and some construction debris / bins. I arrived late at night so i didnt put up a fuss. I also didnt realize the spectacular view that i would awaken to the next morning when the sun rose over my ocean view room. Decided to drive a little further because of the "partial beach view". I had a road view from the back of the hotel, along with some type of construction all night. They said that they were worked to get me changed to a different room for 3 days of my 4 day stay. Was never given a reason for the difference between the room I was given and the one advertised.
